Fans of the real-time strategy (RTS) genre will have a new game to check out on consoles soon. "They Are Billions," an RTS take on a post-apocalyptic world full of zombies, is set to make the jump from PC to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in July.

They Are Billions is set in a world that has been ravaged by a zombie plague, leaving only small pockets of human survivors. Players are tasked with surviving onslaughts from the zombie hordes, defending the remaining vestiges of humanity against infection.

With a steampunk aesthetic, They Are Billions places players in the fight of their lives against thousands of zombies at a time. The game can display up to 20,000 units at once, ensuring your battles will be massive. You'll have to build walls, gates, and towers to ensure you can survive each attack.

Each map in They Are Billions is randomly generated with unique events, weather, and geography. The game also includes a "real time with pause" feature that lets you stop the action at any moment to make strategic decisions. On consoles, the game has been revamped to support controller input, but it supports a mouse and keyboard setup as well.

Currently, They Are Billions is only available for PC via Steam for $30. It will be available for Xbox One in July (an exact date isn't available just yet) for $25.
