Microsoft reportedly to launch a consumer Microsoft 365 bundle

ZDNet's resident Microsoft watcher, Mary Jo Foley, is reporting that the Microsoft 365 bundle might soon come in a consumer edition. Microsoft hasn't yet said anything publicly about such a bundle, but a couple of recent job openings at the company seem to have let the cat out of the bag a little early.

Microsoft has, naturally, nothing further to share at this time, but Foley reports that the bundle could include Windows 10, Skype, Outlook Mobile, Office 365, and/or other services. Details are still fairly non-existent right now, but such a move would certainly wouldn't come as a huge surprise.

And, as Foley also points out, she doesn't see a subscription bundle as Microsoft doing away with the "free" Windows 10 currently provided when you buy a new PC.

Currently Microsoft 365 is an enterprise and education exclusive product that offers Office 365, Windows 10, and Enterprise Mobility + Security. For consumers, Office 365 already packs a good bundle at an attractive price, so it'll be interesting to see just what road Microsoft goes down with this.
