Cities: Skylines pumps up the jams with new Concerts mini-expansion

A new mini-expansion is now available for Cities: Skylines through Steam, and it's ready to bring the noise. Appropriately dubbed "Concerts," the DLC pack lets players put on their own concerts and music festivals in their cities.

Included in the pack is a new festival area building, which can be built up to accommodate bigger crowds. The pack also includes new concert-related ordinances to "promote concerts and monetize the crowds." Of course, since this is a music-focused update, there's new music to check out too. Fresh tracks from in-game bands NESTOR, Elijah MOTi, and Lily La Roux are available.

In addition to the concert-focused portions of the expansion, Paradox Interactive says that the content manager tool is getting a restructuring as part of a free update, making it easier to organize and browse mod assets.

The Concerts mini-expansion is available now for the Steam version of the game for $6.99. There's no word on when we might expect this new content to hit Xbox One or the Windows Store version of the game.
