The Orange Box, other Valve backward compatible titles now Xbox One X enhanced

Microsoft is trudging forward with its goal of breathing new life into classic Xbox 360 titles by enhancing them on Xbox One X consoles. The latest batch of games to get the "enhanced" treatment includes four entries from Valve, ranging from Half-Life 2 to Portal and Left 4 Dead.

Here's the lineup of backward compatible titles that have picked up Xbox One X enhancements today:

The addition of these four titles brings the total list of Xbox One X Enhanced Xbox 360 games to 21. Each runs at a higher resolution than they originally launched with, increasing the pixel count ninefold for a much sharper picture. All of this is done through the Xbox 360 emulator on the Xbox One X without messing with the original game code.

Left 4 Dead and its sequel are some of my favorites, so it'll be cool to see them scaled to push more pixels on Xbox One X. But it's The Orange Box – which includes Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal – which is the real gem here.
