Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Pass now available, ahead of 2018 DLC

Last month Rainbow Six Siege received its seventh major content drop, with the release of "Operation White Noise." Rounding off the second year of post-launch DLC, the expansion took its tense shooter gameplay to the rooftops of Korea, with a new multiplayer map, three playable Operators and more.

And while entering its third year since release, Rainbow Six Siege is on track to receive at least another 12 months of content. Following a similar distribution model to previous years, four seasons are on the way, with new maps and Operators on the roadmap. Among the highlights is "Operation Chimera," a new fantasy operation centered around zombies, as well as playable characters from Italian GIS, Scotland Yard, Delta Force the Moroccan GIGR.

With the first season set to drop in early 2018, Rainbow Six Siege's "Year 3 Pass" is now available for purchase, securing access to all the upcoming content. Among the benefits is 7-day access to the eight new operators, exclusive headgear, uniforms and a "meteorite charm."

You'll also see a 5% renown boost, 0.3% Alpha pack boost, 10% discount in the shop, as well as 600 bonus R6 Credits. And for those who purchase before March 5, a "Damascus Steel" skin is up for grabs too. The expansion pass isn't necessary to experience a majority of the content though, with free maps available to all players, and Operators accessible via in-game credits.

Like previous season passes, the Year 3 Pass is priced at $29.99 across all platforms. For those Xbox One and PC wanting to get a head start on next year's content, hit the links below.
