Smite is a popular multiplayer game that's still played to a great degree on Xbox One. Today, it received an update which not only adds new heroes, but also brings with it full mouse and keyboard support.

The team said the following in an Xbox Wire post.

Last but certainly not least, we're so excited to announce that full keyboard and mouse support is coming to Smite on Xbox One! In our newest update, players will be able to switch their control scheme from gamepad to keyboard and mouse at the click of a button. Choose your weapon of choice before you go into battle and play how you want to! Cross-play matchmaking has also been updated to match players based on their input method regardless of platform.

It's great to see that such a popular game is getting mouse and keyboard support. Hopefully, when next-generation rolls out in Holiday 2020, this will be the default. Do you use mouse and keyboard input on Xbox One? Let us know.
