Su said of the upcoming event:

AMD technology is at the heart of some of today's most popular consumer products and services. As we push the envelope on performance, we expand what is possible in personal computing, gaming and online services and experiences. I look forward to sharing exciting new technology developments at CES 2021, and what it will mean to the way we live, work, learn and play.

Su joins Verizon Chairman and CEO Hans Vestberg, who has also been announced as a CES 2021 keynote speaker.

AMD has had a busy 2020, including powering some of the best Windows laptops with its Ryzen 4000 series mobile chips. We'll have to wait and see if the company can carry the momentum from this year into 2021.
