Final Fantasy XII and X|X-2 remasters go up for digital preorder on Xbox

Last year, publisher Square Enix announced that a number of Final Fantasy games were coming to Xbox One in 2019. Many of these titles were previously PlayStation 4 exclusives, much to the dismay of gamers who have other consoles. Luckily, that's about to change with the release of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Remastered and Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster. Today, the company announces that digital preorders were open on Xbox One. Additionally, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Remastered will support 60 frames per second on Xbox One X.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Remastered

Enter an era of war within the world of Ivalice. The small kingdom of Dalmasca, conquered by the Archadian Empire, is left in ruin and uncertainty. Princess Ashe, the one and only heir to the throne, devotes herself to the resistance to liberate her country. Vaan, a young man who lost his family in the war, dreams of flying freely in the skies. In a fight for freedom and fallen royalty, join these unlikely allies and their companions as they embark on a heroic adventure to free their homeland.

Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster

Final Fantasy X tells the story of Tidus, a star blitzball player who journeys with a young and beautiful summoner named Yuna on her quest to save the world of Spira from an endless cycle of destruction wrought by the colossal menace known as Sin. Final Fantasy X-2 returns to the world of Spira where High Summoner Yuna travels with her companions Rikku and Paine to unravel the mysteries of the messages hidden in the spheres she hunts, not knowing that the answers she seeks may change everything.
