Microsoft adds two more eye-catching Xbox One controllers to its lineup

If you're a collector of Microsoft's many Xbox One controllers, the past month has been a good one – or a bad one, depending on the size of your wallet. The lineup recently grew by two with the launch of the revamped Armed Forces II and minty Sport White controllers, and today, Microsoft is adding two more to its repertoire.

First up is the new Phantom Black Special Edition, which is available to preorder for $69.99. The finish on this one is interesting, as it fades from top to bottom from a translucent matte black to a metallic champagne gold. That's rounded out by a gold D-pad and blacked out buttons, triggers, and thumbsticks.

Next is the much less ornate, but still eye-catching Grey/Blue controller, which is also available to preorder for $64.99. This one takes on a similar two-toned design to other controllers Microsoft has launched, opting for a dark grey up front and a light blue around black. The triggers sport a grey finish, while the buttons and navigation buttons are monochrome. Underneath the grey joysticks, you'll see a little extra color from the blue accents.

Both controllers also come with 14-day trials to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass.

The Phantom Black Special Edition controller is set to be released on September 11, while the Grey/Blue model will be available on September 25.
