Tom Clancy's EndWar and H.A.W.X join Xbox backward compatibility

Ever since Xbox One backward compatibility was announced, gamers have been asking for a few high-profile games. While the majority of requests revolve around the Call of Duty franchise, the Tom Clancy franchise has been another hot series. Today, Xbox Live's Director of Programming, Larry Hryb, announced that Tom Clancy's EndWar and Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X are now backward compatible.

Backward compatibility opens Xbox One to a huge variety of games, spanning three generations of Microsoft's consoles. Despite hardware differences, it remains an outstanding feature, allowing a select library of older games to be played on Xbox One. While the majority of them are Xbox 360 titles, there are also some original Xbox games in there.

Tom Clancy's EndWar

Experience World War III in your living room with EndWar, a revolutionary new war simulator built to supposedly maximize gaming consoles. The introduction is rather dramatic as it says, "Nobody thought humanity could possibly let it really come to this, but in 2016, the unthinkable happens… The first nuclear exchange occurred over Middle Eastern soil."

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X

Just like Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, H.A.W.X puts you in a fighter pilot's seat. As a member of the elite H.A.W.X squadron, you'll find yourself manning cutting-edge aircraft, training on all the newest weapons, and carrying out dangerous top-secret missions set against the backdrop of a chaotic future, where private militaries are constantly putting your skills to the test.
