  • A YouTube description has allegedly leaked plans to bring Back 4 Blood to Xbox Game Pass on launch day.
  • A Reddit user spotted the description on the video for the upcoming Back 4 Blood reveal, scheduled to go live during the Warner Bros. Back 4 Blood broadcast.
  • Back 4 Blood releases on October 12 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.

The zombie co-op shooter Back 4 Blood seems like it's releasing on Xbox Game Pass from launch day.

Eagle-eyed Reddit user /u/JohnTLH spotted the news in the YouTube description for the upcoming Back 4 Blood PvP video reveal, currently set for 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on Sunday 13th June, the same time as the Warner Bros. Back 4 Blood broadcast.

"Back 4 Blood will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch via Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, as well as Windows 10 PC," the description allegedly read. The YouTube video in question was apparently live for most of yesterday, before being set to private, adding legitimacy to the claim.

Microsoft has been adamant about their support for Xbox Game Pass, and in this year alone we saw big third-party releases like Outriders and MLB: The Show 21 arrive on the service at launch. If Back 4 Blood is coming to Xbox Game Pass from launch, we can assume that we'll get an official reveal at the Xbox and Bethesda conference at E3 2021.

Back 4 Blood is an upcoming co-op zombie killing game from Turtle Rock Studios, developed with talent behind Left 4 Dead and Evolve. In our impressions of the closed alpha test in December, we thought that the game was shaping up to be the Left 4 Dead sequel fans have been waiting over a decade for, and could be one of the future best co-op games on the Xbox.

You won't have to wait long before you get to try it yourselves. An open beta is planned for August 12, ahead of the game's release, with early access for preorders. Back 4 Blood will arrive on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, PS4, PS5, and PC on October 12.
