What you need to know

  • We've known for a while that a TV adaptation of the Halo franchise has been in the works for quite some time now.
  • Thanks to Reddit, we may now have a look at some alleged, and blurry, images of a trailer for the Xbox TV series.
  • Nothing, even the leaks, has been confirmed, but the Xbox TV series trailer may appear during the upcoming Xbox E3 2021 event.
  • Debuting the first proper trailer for the Halo TV series alongside a fresh look at Halo Infinite could be a big win for the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase at E3 2021.

We've known for ages that a TV adaptation of the Halo universe is currently in the works, and we even recently learned that the Halo TV show is now coming to Paramount Plus, likely in 2022. Still, we have yet to get a good look at the Halo TV show, and this may be about to change soon. u/Dilpickle6194 on Reddit leaked ten alleged images taken from an upcoming trailer for the Halo TV series, which you can see below. The images are blurry and low-resolution, but we can still see plenty of what live-action Halo looks like in the TV show.

Apparently the images are taken from a trailer for the Halo TV series, which likely means it's set to be revealed soon. We can't think of any better time or place to show off a trailer for the Halo TV series than the massive game convention that's happening right now.

E3 2021 is shaping up to deliver too many game reveals and announcements to count feasibly, and Microsoft is planning to go big with their Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase at E3 2021 on June 13. We're almost certain we're going to get another look at Halo Infinite, the next major entry in the expansive Halo first-person shooter franchise, and we've even discussed what we're hoping to see from Halo Infinite at Xbox E3 2021.

For alleged images of a trailer for the Halo TV series to leak right now implies an imminent reveal, and what better time than during the Xbox event at E3 2021, right alongside Halo Infinite?

Of course, this should all be taken with a grain of salt. Although unlikely, it's possible these images are faked or tampered with. Plans can and do change all the time, as well, so even if the images are real, they may never see the light of day as part of the trailer they reportedly came from. We'll just have to wait and see, and contend ourselves in the meantime with the grainy screenshots we have now.

Halo games are some of the best Xbox shooters you can play, and many are available on Xbox Game Pass right now. We're also expecting to see more of the next big Halo game, Halo Infinite, at E3 2021, which is expected to arrive on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass later this year.
