Tiles is a simple new puzzle game with Xbox Play Anywhere support

The latest game to join the growing list of Xbox Play Anywhere titles is a rather simple one. Called Tiles, the game serves up simple, but fast-paced, puzzles across both Xbox One and Windows 10.

The goal of Tiles is to move from the green tile to the red tile on each level while clearing out all of the blue tiles in between. That sounds simple enough, but complicating things is the fact that you have to race against the clock as the ground below you collapses. That formula is played out through the 90 levels that ship with the game, but you can add to the mix by creating and sharing your own levels with others using the built-in game editor.

Xbox Play Anywhere support means that you can buy the game once and play it across both Windows 10 and Xbox One, sharing your progress in between. Local multiplayer is on board as well, as are Xbox Live achievements, if you're looking to add to your gamerscore.

If you aren't into puzzle games, then Tiles won't be the most interesting title in the world. But, at $3.99, it looks like a pretty cheap way to get some cheap thrills if you're a puzzle connoisseur.
