Surface Laptop owners, there's a fresh firmware update awaiting you. Microsoft this week rolled out a small update that brings improvements to the Surface Laptop's docking compatibility.

Here's a look at the official release notes from Microsoft's Surface Update History tracker:

  • Surface – Firmware – 135.2139.257.0: Surface System Aggregator – Firmware - 135.2139.257.0 improves docking compatibility.

This is the latest firmware update to hit Surface Laptops since a similarly small update landed in March to improve battery stability.

According to Microsoft, this week's update is available for all Surface Laptops running the Windows 10 April 2018 Update. The firmware first began rolling out on May 15, so it should be available via Windows Update now.
