Forza Edition cars are racing into Forza Motorsport 7

Forza Motorsport 7 will sport a load of cars for players to check out, as we've already seen with the weekly car reveals leading up to its launch. It turns out, however, that fans are also in for some special Forza Edition cars as well.

As Turn 10 describes in its latest Forza Garage reveal, Forza Edition cars will be unique versions of existing cars, tweaked and tuned in ways that you'll only find in Forza Motorsport 7. According to the post, the cars will "stand out from the crowd" with things like custom wide body kits, wheels and "gorgeous liveries." In addition to aesthetics, Turn 10 has also tuned each Forza Edition car to feel unique as well.

Players will be able to get their hands on Forza Edition cars as normal gameplay rewards through the Forza Drivers Cup campaign and Forzathon events. They'll also be available in the Auction House, Turn 10 says.

At the moment, the list of known Forza Edition cars is rather limited. Along with a special version of the 2017 Ford GT, the following Forza Edition cars are also available as part of the VIP Car Pack, which is included with the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions:

  • 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Super
  • Sport Forza Edition
  • 2013 Ram Runner Forza Edition
  • 2012 Nissan GTR Forza Edition
  • 1992 Ford Escort RS Forza Edition
  • 2014 BMW M4 Forza Edition

Forza Motorsport 7 is available for preorder now starting at $59.99 ahead of its expected October 3 release date.
