MSI's latest Prestige laptop gives creators Intel's 9th Gen Intel Core i9 CPU

What you need to know

  • Ahead of Computex 2019, MSI has debuted a refreshed Prestige laptop for creators.
  • The new Prestige P65 packs Intel's latest 9th Gen Core i9 processor, bringing even more power to the fore.
  • There's no availability or pricing information available yet, but we should learn more soon.

As Computex 2019 approaches, MSI not only has gamers in mind; it's debuting a refreshed laptop for creators, too. The company is also set to update its P65 Prestige laptop for creators, along with a new ultra-wide display.

Like its new round of gaming laptops, the biggest update to the P65 Prestige is the addition of Intel's latest 9th Gen Core i9 processor to the lineup. This complements the 8th Gen Core i7 versions already available. That's packed into an aluminum chassis with NVIDIA RTX graphics and a 4K display.

In addition to the refreshed laptop, MSI has a new ultra-wide Prestige PS341WU display in the works. The 34-inch monitor packs a display resolution of 5120 x 2160 with a DisplayHDR 600 rating and 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut.

There's no availability or pricing information for either the refreshed Prestige P65 laptop or Prestige display, but both will be on the show floor at Computex 2019 next week.

Affordable accessories that'll pair perfectly with your PC

Every one of these awesome PC accessories will enhance your everyday experience — and none cost more than $30.

KLIM Aim RGB gaming mouse ($30 at Amazon)

Whether you're a gamer or not, this is an absurdly good mouse for the price. It's ambidextrous, has a responsive sensor, a braided cable, tank-like build quality, and, yes, it has RGB lighting, though you can turn it off if that's not your thing.

AmazonBasics USB speakers ($16 at Amazon)

These neat little speakers may only pack 2.4W of total power, but don't let that fool you. For something so small you get a well-rounded sound and a stylish design. And they only cost $16.

Razer mouse bungee ($20 at Amazon)

Use a wired mouse? You need a mouse bungee to keep your cable tidy and free of snags. You get no drag on the cable, and this one has subtle styling, a rust-resistant spring and a weighted base, all for $20.
