Battletoads comes hopping back with 4K and HDR on Xbox One

Get your hoverbikes ready: Battletoads is making a triumphant return on Xbox One.

On top of all of big triple-A games making their debut on stage at E3 2018, Microsoft also had a blast from the past ready to go: Battletoads.

There was no gameplay to show off, so it's not clear what to expect. But if you've been hankering for the return of the toady retro trio, they're making a return.

For now, it's unclear whether this will be a revamp of sorts for the original Battletoads games, or a completely new entry in the franchise. Still, Microsoft did confirm that, whatever is coming, it will run in 4K with HDR. So it's going to look damn good on Xbox One X.
