Microsoft is now testing a couple of new features for Microsoft Edge on iOS and Android for enterprise users. Both single sign-on and conditional access are now available for testing, allowing employees to easily sign into Azure Directory connected apps once. Meanwhile, IT administrators can limit employees to using Intune protected browsers with Azure AD-connected web apps (via MSPU).
Here's a rundown of what's new:
- Microsoft Edge single sign-on (SSO): Your employees can enjoy single sign-on across native clients (such as Microsoft Outlook) and Microsoft Edge for all Azure Active Directory connected apps.
- Microsoft Edge conditional access: You can now require employees to use Microsoft Intune protected browsers such as Microsoft Edge using application-based conditional access policies.
These new features join other enterprise-centric capabilities, such as personal and corporate identities in Edge and granular configuration settings for administrators. Both new features are in public preview now.
