Turtle Beach unveils new 'Atlas' PC gaming headsets, preorder here

Turtle Beach is one of the major players in the gaming headset market and today, the company announced three new devices geared towards the PC market. Designed in collaboration with leading esports teams like OpTic Gaming and the Houston Outlaws, the "Atlas" line is built for PC gamers and features three different models. The "Elite Atlas Pro Performance" PC gaming headset, the powerful "Atlas Three Amplified" PC gaming headset, and the "Atlas One" PC gaming headset all come in at different price points. All three headsets are available for preorder at select retailers and should launch by the end of September.

Elite Atlas Pro Performance

The Elite Atlas features a metal headband with a glasses-friendly design. The memory foam ear cushions also block out noise. Just like other such headsets, the Elite Atlas has 50 mm speakers which work with Windows Sonic for Headphones. Lastly, it comes with a sensitive mic so that you can communicate with your teammates.

The Elite Atlas costs $99.99.

Atlas Three Amplified

The Atlas Three also supports Windows Sonic for Headphones and 50 mm speakers, but they aren't as refined as the ones found on the Elite Atlas. The mic is also not as sophisticated. Despite these changes, it still features a metal-reinforced design and is glasses-friendly. This model also adds a rechargeable battery that delivers over forty-hours of gaming per charge.

The Atlas Three costs $79.99.

Atlas One

The Atlas One doesn't pack quite the punch as the others because it features 40 mm speakers. Despite that, it still supports Windows Sonic for Headphones and comes with a mic. The design is also similar, but it doesn't use a lot of breathable fabrics on the ear pieces. Turtle Beach still says that the Atlas One is comfortable to use over long periods of time.

The Atlas One costs $49.99.

If you're in the market for a PC gaming headset, be sure to give these ones a go. We're mostly curious about the Elite Atlas because it sounds like a contender for the best gaming headset out there. What do you think? Let us know.
