Long-time players of Minecraft on PC have likely enjoyed their Minecraft adventures while playing the Java Edition. If you're one of the millions of people that bought the Java Edition of Minecraft before October 19, 2018 you can claim a free copy of the modern Bedrock Edition of Minecraft on Windows 10. Take advantage of this offer while it's still available.

This offer expires on April 21, 2020.

How to get Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for Windows 10 for free

  1. Launch your favorite web browser from the Start menu or taskbar.
  2. Navigate to www.mojang.com.

  1. Click the Account button in the top right corner.
  2. Click the Email field.

  1. Type the email address associated with your Mojang account.
  2. Click the password field.

Sign-in to your account.

  1. Type your password.
  2. Click the Log in button.

Now you're logged in.

  1. Click the Redeem button beneath Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for Windows 10. You will be taken to the Microsoft Store.
  2. Click the Redeem button.

  1. Click Go to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for Windows 10.
  2. Click the Open button to launch Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for Windows 10.

Now you have another copy of Minecraft

That's it! You can now enjoy the newest version of Minecraft. If you can't take advantage of this offer, you can still buy the Bedrock Edition directly from Microsoft.
