What you need to know

  • Acer has announced a new addition to its Predator family with the Titan 300 SE gaming laptop for CES 2021.
  • The laptop is powered by Intel's latest 11th Gen processors.
  • Availability of the new model will go live in March, starting from $1,400.

Acer used CES 2021 to refresh numerous laptops for the new year and the Predator Triton 300 SE (PT314-51s) isn't quite a refresh, but more of an entirely new model. Taking Intel's latest 11th Gen processors, those who pick up the new gaming laptop will have the additional performance at hand for smashing skulls and other tasks.

The new portable gaming machine allows you to configure up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 H35 CPU. This capable processor is capable of boosting up to 5GHz, allowing one to enjoy high levels of performance, especially when taking into account the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.

Acer's dual-fan cooling solution should help keep everything cool thanks to including the company's 5th Gen AeroBlade metal fan. All the goodness packed inside the laptop will easily provide content to the Predator Triton 300 SE's 14-inch display, which can hit up to 144Hz. Even with all this power, the laptop should see upwards of 10 hours before needing to be charged, unless you plan to game, of course.

As well as the beefy new processor and fancy display for gaming, the Triton 300 SE can be kitted out with plenty of RAM with a dual-channel DDR4 setup fully supported. Then you have the moderately capable NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, which is actually a relatively new GPU based on the Turing platform.

Acer is expected to release the new Predator Triton 300 SE in the U.S. and beyond in March, starting from $1,400.
