Halo composer Kazuma Jinnouchi leaves 343 Industries

Kazuma Jinnouchi is a famous video game composer who's known for creating scintillating soundtracks for Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. He's worked at Microsoft's 343 Industries for the past seven years, but is now becoming a freelancer and leaving the studio. It's unclear what triggered the decision because the team has been developing Halo: Infinite for many years now. We wish him the best of luck in the future.

Recently, Martin O'Donnell, the composer behind Bungie's games like Destiny, was meeting with old colleagues like Joseph Staten who currently work at Microsoft. It's unclear if this meeting was to discuss collaboration on Halo: Infinite or simply a gathering of friends. We'll keep you posted as soon as 343 Industries hires a new in-house composer. Hopefully O'Donnell will be involved in some capacity because he worked wonders for the first few Halo games Bungie developed.
