What you need to know

  • Mortal Kombat 11 is a fighting game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
  • Mortal Kombat Kollection Online was a canceled game that featured remasters of the first three games in the franchise.
  • The collection was just rated for Xbox One and other platforms, meaning that it could still be alive.
  • You can purchase Mortal Kombat 11 for $40 through Amazon.

Mortal Kombat Kollection Online was a canceled compilation of the first three Mortal Kombat games, fully remastered from our understanding. However, a report by Gematsu states that it was just rated by the Pan European Game Information board.

You can read an excerpt from the report below.

The Pan European Game Information board has rated 'Mortal Kombat Kollection Online' for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Mortal Kombat Kollection Online was a collection including remastered versions of the first three Mortal Kombat games developed by Blind Squirrel Games. As of April 2019, it was reportedly canceled. The new rating suggests the project may still be in the works.

Hopefully, Mortal Kombat Kollection Online is real and will be announced soon. As always with such leaks, take it with a grain of salt until we receive official confirmation.

Would you buy Mortal Kombat Kollection Online? Let's hope that it uses a modern engine because just increasing the resolution of the old games won't go over well in this modern gaming age.
