Forza Motorsport 7 PC requirements revealed

This year marks the first full release of a Forza Motorsport game on Windows 10, and the developers have used everything they've learned to this point to build it from the ground up for PC.

The Forza series isn't just a flagship for the console anymore, and ahead of Forza 7 launching later this year we've been given a look at what kind of PC hardware you'll need to have in order to play it.

The headline here is that you're seemingly able to play Forza 7 on even Intel integrated graphics on an Ultrabook or a Surface. No, you didn't misread that.

From the Forza Blog:

Support for a Broad Range of PC Setups – Forza Motorsport 7 was designed to run smoothly across a wide range of Windows 10 PCs and performance settings. Not only have we lowered our minimum specifications to i5-750, we've also reduced our recommended specifications while still having the game run at a rock solid 60 frames per second. Even gamers with a Surface Book 4 or other budget-friendly gaming PC can play the game.

Obviously there will be compromises, but Microsoft has tried to be as inclusive as possible. The table below charts the minimum requirements through to the top-end, 4K, ultra settings.

Forza Motorsport 7 is due to launch on October 3, 2017 on Xbox One and Windows 10 as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition you'll get access four days earlier. Get your orders in now from $59.99.
