Microsoft has hidden a surprising little bonus in its recent promotional holiday emails. As first discovered by users on Reddit (via The Verge), Microsoft has hidden special links in its emails that reward a $10 gift card.
In a recent missive, one of the links was hidden in a red tree at the bottom of the email. Another email promotion for Black Friday included the hidden link in a blue squirrel.
Unfortunately, it looks like the most recent promotion has either expired or all of a limited number of gift cards have been claimed. However, with multiple emails containing the links already going out, it looks like Microsoft could have more in store as the holiday season continues.
