Forza Horizon 5's base game includes 53 Achievements worth a combined total of 1,000 Gamerscore, which is pretty standard for a "AAA" Xbox game. With so many Achievements, individual Gamerscore amounts tend to be pretty small, but Forza Horizon 5 pretty liberally rewards you throughout a lot of your gameplay, as long as you're experimenting with the many facets of FH5.

As Forza Horizon 5 releases updates and post-launch DLC, it may add additional Achievements for players to earn, similar to other games that see plenty of support after release.

Without further ado, here's the full list of Achievements in Forza Horizon 5:

How do I unlock the Achievements in Forza Horizon 5?

Many of Forza Horizon 5's Achievements are pretty straightforward to unlock, but some take a lot of time or effort to complete. We'll continually update this section with information on how to unlock every Achievement in Forza Horizon 5, and provide all the information you need to 100% this incredible game's Achievements.

Here's how you can complete every Achievement in Forza Horizon 5.

Welcome to Mexico

  • Description and reward: Arrive at Horizon Festival Mexico — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The first Achievement any player will earn in Forza Horizon 5, "Welcome to Mexico" congratulates players for first entering Horizon Festival Mexico. All you need to do to earn this introductory Achievement is to complete the initial drive at the beginning of the game, making this an unavoidable Achievement if you play for more than 10 minutes.

Race Into Action

  • Description and reward: Complete any Horizon Race Event — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Forza Horizon 5 is filled with various kinds of Race Events, including asphalt, cross-country, off-road, drag races, and more. In order to earn the "Race Into Action" Achievement, you'll need to enter and complete any one Race Event in FH5, which you'll be able to do immediately after completing the first three objectives in FH5.

After the initial drive, the first Showcase Event, and the first Horizon Story, you'll be offered a selection of races to enter in order to earn Accolade points. Choose any one of these races to enter the Achievement early on, but this Achievement will pop the first time you complete a Race Event at any point in Forza Horizon 5.

Adaptable

  • Description and reward: Complete the "On a Wing and a Prayer" Showcase Event — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Another practically unavoidable Achievement, this will likely be the second Achievement most players will earn. The "On a Wing and a Prayer" Showcase Event is the second objective players will complete, immediately after the initial drive and introductory cinematic. You'll need to drive to the designated location (the game will nudge you in that direction) and race against a cargo plane and two wingsuit-equipped NPCs riding dirt bikes.

The Showcase Event will put you behind the wheel of the 1994 Hoonigan Ford Escort RS Cosworth WRC "Cossie V2," which will be rewarded to you upon completion of the event. Showcase Events aren't designed to be difficult, but the race will almost always be close. Once you complete the Showcase Event, you'll earn this Achievement immediately.

Icebreaker

  • Description and reward: Participate in a Horizon Arcade Event — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

After you finish the introduction to Forza Horizon 5, you'll be let loose in Horizon Life, the always-connected hub world that brings players from all over the world closer together. Scattered around the world are Horizon Arcade events, which are themed series of mini-games and challenges that players can complete together in exchange for Forzathon Points (which can be spent on exclusive rewards at the Forzathon Shop).

In order to earn the "Icebreaker" Achievement, you'll need to participate in any of the five categories of Horizon Arcade. You don't need to make it all the way to Round 3 and complete the Horizon Arcade, but you do need to participate and finish at least one round to complete this Achievement. Horizon Arcade events happen regularly all across Forza Horizon 5, so there's always another event to enter if you miss one.

Mi Casa

  • Description and reward: Unlock the first Player House — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The "Mi Casa" Achievement goes hand in hand with the "This is the Way" Achievement further down, since most players will earn these at around the same time. The first Forza Horizon 5 Player House is "Casa Bella," and is given to players for free upon getting through the initial "tutorial" stage of Forza Horizon 5 and starting the first proper Horizon Adventure Chapter.

If you intend to complete the FH5 campaign, this Achievement is also pretty much unavoidable. Once you complete the initial drive, first Showcase Event, first Horizon Story, and earn enough Accolade points to start a new Horizon Adventure Chapter, you'll be directed to Mulegé, where you'll be given Casa Bella by Ramiro. You can use Casa Bella for anything Horizon Festivals can be used for, including customizing your cars and character, expanding your car collection, and more.

First Love

  • Description and reward: Purchase your first car from the Autoshow — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The "First Love" Achievement is pretty straightforward: buy any car at all from the Forza Horizon 5 Autoshow. You can earn this Achievement at any point, simply by heading to a Horizon Festival site or Player House to access the Autoshow, and purchasing absolutely any car you want (that's within your means to afford). You'll need to earn money from completing races and other events, as well as from Wheelspins.

This is the Way

  • Description and reward: Start a new Chapter of the Horizon Adventure — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

This Achievement is connected to the "Mi Casa" Achievement above, in that they're going to be unlocked around the same time. This Achievement is earned after you complete the initial drive, first Showcase Event, first Horizon Story, and you accept your first player house from Ramiro in Mulegé. After which, Forza Horizon 5 should expand and give you increased access to the Horizon Adventure campaign.

Once you've unlocked Horizon Adventure and are having everything explained to you, you'll unlock the "This is the Way" Achievement.

Viva Horizon!

  • Description and reward: Unlock your first Horizon Finale Event — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

"Viva Horizon!" is earned after unlocking any Horizon Finale Event, which is done through Horizon Adventure. Every Festival Site in Forza Horizon 5, each of which is given its own category in Horizon Adventure, features an "ultimate race." Many players may be familiar with The Goliath, a race that spans all of Mexico and is the Finale Event for Horizon Mexico.

To unlock a Horizon Finale Event, you'll need to progress through the Forza Horizon 5 introduction until you unlock Horizon Adventure, open one of the Horizon Festival Sites, and then unlock its Finale Event from Horizon Adventure. To do this, you'll need to earn plenty of Accolades through exploration, creation, racing, and more to progress through enough Horizon Adventure Chapters.

The six Horizon Finale Events include: The Goliath for Horizon Mexico, The Colossus for Horizon Apex, The Gauntlet for Horizon Wilds, The Titan for Horizon Baja, The Juggernaut for Horizon Rush, and The Marathon for Horizon Street Scene. Any of these Horizon Finale Events will unlock the "Viva Horizon!" Achievement.

Putting on a Show

  • Description and reward: Win every Showcase Event — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

In order to earn the "Putting on a Show" Achievement, you'll need to unlock and win all four Showcase Events in Forza Horizon 5. You'll complete the first Showcase Event, "On a Wing and a Prayer," during the FH5 introduction, but the other three are unlocked through Horizon Adventure.

"Flood, Sweat, and Gears" is unlocked under the Horizon Wilds section of Horizon Adventure, and pits players against a team on jetskis in the 2020 Ford Performance Bronco R #2069. "Buggy and the Best" is unlocked under the Horizon Baja section of Horizon Adventure, and will have players race against two 2020 Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Bone Shaker in the 2017 Ford Bronco #25 Ultra4 Racing "Brocky." Finally, "Catch Me If You Canyon" is unlocked under the Horizon Rush section in Horizon Adventure, and tasks you with beating a freight train while driving 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV.

All four Showcase Events are gently rigged to lean towards giving you a very close win, but you'll still need to avoid major mistakes in order to come out on top. Completing Showcase Events can give you lots of Accolade points towards the next Horizon Adventure Chapter, making it easier to unlock the next Showcase Event, but you'll need to complete at least three Horizon Expeditions to unlock the corresponding Horizon Festival Sites first.

AWDyssey

  • Description and reward: Build the Horizon Wilds Outpost — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

There's an Achievement corresponding with building all six of the Horizon Festival Sites, with "AWDyssey" pertaining to the Horizon Wilds Outpost. After unlocking the Horizon Adventure, it's entirely up to you how to progress when you earn enough Accolades to unlock a new Chapter. In order to unlock the Horizon Wilds Outpost, you'll need to complete the Jungle Expedition, which has you take Ramiro into the jungle to track down a "big cat."

You'll need to help Ramiro recover his gear and lost notes, which he was forced to lose after a harrowing experience with his plane, and then you'll be given the location of the aforementioned big cat. Of course, the cat is actually a rare car. The 1991 Jaguar XJR-15 Sport, one of Forza Horizon 5's Barn Finds, is earned during this Expedition. After you complete the Jungle Expedition, you'll build the Horizon Wilds Outpost and unlock this Achievement.

Ask Any Racer, Any Real Racer

  • Description and reward: Build the Horizon Street Scene Outpost — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

There's an Achievement corresponding with building all six of the Horizon Festival Sites, with "Ask Any Racer, Any Real Racer" pertaining to the Horizon Street Scene Outpost. After unlocking the Horizon Adventure, it's entirely up to you how to progress when you earn enough Accolades to unlock a new Chapter. In order to unlock the Horizon Street Scene Outpost, which is now officially recognized by the Horizon Festival, you'll need to complete the Guanajuato Expedition.

You'll get to explore Guanajuato and uncover Mexico's vibrant street racing culture, meeting some of the key figures, before racing to the site of the Horizon Street Scene Outpost. After you complete the Guanajuato Expedition, you'll build the Horizon Wilds Outpost and unlock this Achievement.

Far From the Mudding Crowd

  • Description and reward: Build the Horizon Apex Outpost — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

There's an Achievement corresponding with building all six of the Horizon Festival Sites, with "Far From the Mudding Crowd" pertaining to the Horizon Apex Outpost. After unlocking the Horizon Adventure, it's entirely up to you how to progress when you earn enough Accolades to unlock a new Chapter. In order to unlock the Horizon Apex Outpost, which revolves around high-speed road racing, you'll need to complete the Tulum Expedition.

The Tulum Expedition tasks you with driving through ancient ruins buried deep in the jungle, with an aggressive tropical storm looming above. You'll have an opportunity to explore ruins, rescue Ramiro from the jungle, and race down to the coast. After you complete the Tulum Expedition, you'll build the Horizon Apex Outpost and unlock this Achievement. The Tulum Expedition is where you can earn "An Item of Extreme Value" and "New Tune" Achievements.

There's Always Money in the Baja Stand

  • Description and reward: Build the Horizon Baja Outpost — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

There's an Achievement corresponding with building all six of the Horizon Festival Sites, with "There's Always Money in the Baja Stand" pertaining to the Horizon Baja Outpost. After unlocking the Horizon Adventure, it's entirely up to you how to progress when you earn enough Accolades to unlock a new Chapter. In order to unlock the Horizon Baja Outpost, which is centers around chaotic cross-country racing, you'll need to complete the Baja Expedition.

The Baja Expedition lets you race up an active volcano to help with conducting research, including clear steam vents and more. After you complete the Baja Expedition, you'll build the Horizon Baja Outpost and unlock this Achievement.

Adrenaline Rush

  • Description and reward: Build the Horizon Rush Outpost — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

There's an Achievement corresponding with building all six of the Horizon Festival Sites, with "Adrenaline Rush" pertaining to the Horizon Rush Outpost. After unlocking the Horizon Adventure, it's entirely up to you how to progress when you earn enough Accolades to unlock a new Chapter. In order to unlock the Horizon Rush Outpost, which is all about PR Stunts, you'll need to complete the Canyon Expedition.

The Canyon Expedition is an interesting one, as it actually takes place during a traditional Mexican festival. During the Expedition, you'll be able to drive a parade float, before promptly launching it off a cliff. After you complete the Canyon Expedition, you'll build the Horizon Rush Outpost and unlock this Achievement.

Hall of Famer

  • Description and reward: Reach the Horizon Hall of Fame — 50 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The ultimate goal for Forza Horizon 5 players — and the conclusion of its Horizon Adventure campaign — is to reach the fabled Hall of Fame and add your name to the vaunted Hall of Fame Leaderboard. In order to reach the Hall of Fame and unlock this Achievement, you'll need to play the game extensively and earn enough Accolades to unlock every Horizon Adventure Chapter in the game.

You do not have to complete any Horizon Adventure apart from the Expeditions (which unlock the Horizon Festival Sites and give you access to other Horizon Adventure Chapters), but you do at least have to earn enough Accolades to unlock them all. A good way to earn the required Accolades if you want to reach the Hall of Fame as soon as possible is to focus on completing PR Stunts across Mexico. However, practically everything you do in Forza Horizon 5 rewards Accolade points.

Any time you complete or win a race for the first time, reach a new milestone in your car collection or online creations, discover a new part of Mexico, and everything in between, Forza Horizon 5 rewards your progress with Accolades, all of which contribute to the Horizon Adventure. After you reach the Hall of Fame and unlock this Achievement, you'll be able to earn additional Accolades to rise through the Leaderboard, and participate in brutal The Trial events through the Festival Playlist.

How to Race Friends and Influence People

  • Description and reward: Earn three Stars in the "Tristan" Chapter of the "Born Fast" Horizon Story — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Forza Horizon 5 features several Horizon Stories, which are essentially side missions that follow smaller stories and characters. In order to earn the "How to Race Friends and Influence People" Achievement, you'll need to earn a perfect score (3 Stars) on the final Chapter of the "Born Fast" Horizon Story. In this Chapter, you'll race against Tristan, the leader of the Born Fast racing society.

Before you can race against Tristan, you'll first need to reach the Horizon Hall of Fame and earn the "Hall of Famer" Achievement. Once you've done this, you can return to the Born Fast Horizon Story and finish it. Tristan isn't the most difficult opponent to beat, but you'll have to beat him within a certain amount of time to earn 3 Stars. Keep an eye out for places you can cut corners to shave off precious seconds, and don't be afraid to use the "Rewind" function if you make a mistake.

If you have trouble beating Tristan in general, lowering the game's Drivatar difficulty should also make Tristan an easier opponent, but this won't increase the time to earn 3 Stars on the Chapter. Once you've beaten Tristan and the target time of 2 minutes and 25 seconds, you'll earn the "How to Race Friends and Influence People" Achievement upon returning to Freeroam.

Cover to Cover

  • Description and reward: Earn 3 Stars on all Chapters in a single Horizon Story — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The "Cover to Cover" Achievement is earned for earn 3 Stars on all Chapters in any Horizon Story. You can use any Horizon Story to earn this Achievement, but keep in mind some will be easier than others. Most Horizon Stories require that you've reached the Hall of Fame in order to complete the final Chapter and have branching paths that require you to return at a later date to complete missed Chapters.

The most straightforward way to earn this Achievement is to use one of the five "Test Driver" Horizon Stories. Each of these Horizon Stories only features 3 Chapters and does not require you to reach the Hall of Fame before completing them. Keep in mind, however, that Test Driver Horizon Stories tend to be a little bit more difficult to earn 3 Stars on than some of the other Horizon Stories. You only need to earn 3 Stars on all Chapters of one Test Driver Horizon Story to earn this Achievement.

If you want an easier time of it, have reached the Hall of Fame, and don't mind going back to play missed Chapters, the "Vocho," "El Camino," and "V10" Horizon stories are all pretty simple. Once you've earned 3 Stars on all Chapters of any of the Horizon Stories, you'll earn the "Cover to Cover" Achievement upon returning to Freeroam.

Tourist Attract

  • Description and reward: Complete your first Horizon Tour Race Event — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Horizon Tour is one of the brand-new Race Events introduced in Forza Horizon 5, and it pits a team of six real-life players against six AI Drivatars. Horizon Tour is unique in that it encourages teamwork, has a low barrier for entry and success, and bridges the gap between each Race Event by having you and your team drive as a Convoy to the next location. In order to earn the "Tourist Attract" Achievement, all you need to do is complete any complete Horizon Tour Race Event.

Horizon Tour Race Events feature three parts with a rotating theme (the class of car / locations change over time), and are pretty easy to matchmake for. Completing a Horizon Tour Race Event is straightforward and fun, and it can even net you points for the Festival Playlist.

Show Me Your Moves

  • Description and reward: Play any EventLab Event created by another player — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

EventLab is a suite of tools that can be used to create anything you can imagine. Playground Games built EventLab to let the community inject a never-ending stream of fresh content into Forza Horizon 5, and earning the "Show Me Your Moves" Achievement just means playing any one of these Events. You can see community EventLab creations in the "Creative Hub" section of Settings, and completing any of those Events will earn you this Achievement.

EventLab Events can also occasionally be featured in the Festival Playlist, giving you another opportunity to earn the "Show Me Your Moves" Achievement. This Achievement cannot be earned by playing your own EventLab creations, but other players can earn it by playing yours!

Good Carma

  • Description and reward: Give another player some Kudos to show your appreciation — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Kudos is one of Forza Horizon 5's currencies, geared towards encouraging friendly interactions between players online. Think of Kudos as a social reward for when a player does something awesome in FH5. To earn the "Good Carma" Achievement, you have to gift Kudos to any player for any reason, just like other players can do for you!

You can gift Kudos to players by liking their creations and being grateful for Gift Drops and more. If you download a livery, tune, vinyl, or photo in Forza Horizon 5, be sure to give the creator a like to help boost the popularity of their creation and give them a Kudos. You can also do the same if you play an EventLab, Super7, or Create a Route creation. Finally, sending a "thank you" message when you receive a Gift Drop will also send Kudos to the gifting player.

Album Cover

  • Description and reward: Take a photo of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE for Horizon Promo — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Forza Horizon 5 features a pretty in-depth Photo Mode, which allows players to take awesome-looking photos of their cars. To earn the "Album Cover" Achievement, you need to take a picture of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE; that's right, the car that adorns the cover of Forza Horizon 5! The AMG ONE is an expensive car, coming in at a cool 2.7 million Credits in the Autoshow, so you'll likely have to wait a while in order to obtain it.

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG ONE can be obtained through Wheelspins, the Autoshow, purchasing it from another play via the Auction House, or by earning it from the Festival Playlist (this car was a series reward for Series 1). Once you've acquired the car, go into Photo Mode while driving it and take a picture of it! Once the photo processes, you'll earn the "Album Cover" Achievement.

Fit to Print

  • Description and reward: Take 50 photos of Legendary cars for Horizon Promo — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

"Fit to Print" seems like a simple Achievement at first, but it's actually quite difficult to pull off. In order to earn this Achievement, you'll need to take photos of 50 different Legendary rarity cars. Legendary cars are the most valuable of all vehicles in Forza Horizon 5, even besting the much-sought-after Forza Edition cars, so getting 50 of them for a photoshoot is no easy task.

You could wait until you've obtained 50 Legendary cars and taken a photo of each one. Legendary cars can be obtained from the Autoshow or Auction House, although they tend to be quite expensive, and can even be earned from Wheelspins and the Festival Playlist. Every Forza Horizon 5 Barn Find is a Legendary car, as well, giving you 15 if you find and restore them all.

However, there is an easier way to get the "Fit to Print" Achievement. Taking pictures of Legendary cars elsewhere in the world, even if they're not your cars, also counts towards Horizon Promo and this Achievement. The easiest way to take advantage of this is to take pictures of your opponent's cars at the beginning of every race. You can use EventLab to customize Race Event to change the car class, type, and theme, giving you a wider variety of potential vehicles. If you customize a Race Event multiple times with different cars, you should be able to find the necessary Legendary cars you need for the "Fit to Print" Achievement in no time.

Every Legendary car you photograph only counts once, so it does need to be 50 unique models. To make tracking your progress on this Achievement even easier, you can purchase the Lugar Tranquilo Player House, which gives you a shortcut for taking photos for Horizon Promo and lists every new car you photograph as you do so.

A Forza Edition to My Collection

  • Description and reward: Earn a Forza Edition car from a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Unfortunately, there's no guaranteed way to earn the "A Forza Edition to My Collection" Achievement. This particular Achievement is earned whenever you gain a rare Forza Edition car after spinning a Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin, which effectively comes down to chance.

Wheelspins are earned from leveling up, redeeming Skill Points on cars, completing Accolades and Car Collection milestones, from the Festival Playlist or Forzathon Shop, and more. Wheelspins can provide tons of rewards, including credits, rare clothing items, and tons of cars. Many vehicles from the Forza Horizon 5 car list, including a ton of Forza Edition cars, can be earned through Wheelspins.

Keep playing the game and earning Wheelspins, and you're bound to get this Achievement eventually. Not every Wheelspin gives you a chance at a Forza Edition car, and not every Wheelspin that gives you the chance will actually land on the valuable car, but your chances are definitely better than winning the lottery.

Manufacturer Affinity

  • Description and reward: Earn a Manufacturer Bonus — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Forza Horizon 5 features the Car Collection, which lists practically every vehicle in the Forza Horizon 5 car list that players can own. There are dozens of manufacturers in Forza Horizon 5, and players can get bonuses for owning every car from a specific manufacturer. To earn the "Manufacturer Affinity" Achievement, you need to do exactly this.

The easiest way to do this is to navigate to the Car Collection screen and find a manufacturer that only offers one car in the game. The 1945 Willys MB Jeep is a great option, as this car only costs 40,000 Credits and immediately earns you a Manufacturer Bonus. However, it's entirely up to you how to earn this Achievement. Owning every car from any manufacturer in Forza Horizon 5 earns the "Manufacturer Affinity" Achievement. Just keep in mind that some manufacturers have Forza Edition cars, or cars that you can't easily obtain.

You Could Say I'm a Fan

  • Description and reward: Earn a Manufacturer Bonus for a collection of 25 or more cars — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Related to the "Manufacturer Affinity" Achievement, "You Could Say I'm a Fan" is unlocked when you earn a Manufacturer Bonus for a manufacturer with 25 or more cars. Only a handful of manufacturers feature enough cars for this Achievement, notably BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, and Ford. Out of these four, Chevrolet is by far the easiest manufacturer collection to complete, but it still won't be cheap or easy.

All of these manufacturers feature at least one car that can only be obtained through special means like Wheelspins, including Chevy, and Ferrari and Ford are both very expensive if you're looking to purchase every possible car from the Autoshow. You can buy most of Chevy's cars from the Autoshow if you have a couple million Credits lying around, while the 1970 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 can only be obtained through Wheelspins (or the Auction House if you're willing to spend the money). BMW isn't as easy to obtain as Chevrolet, but those who prefer the German manufacturer can go that route.

It should be noted that this Achievement has been reported as buggy for some, so you may complete a manufacturer collection and earn your Manufacturer Bonus, but notice that the "You Could Say I'm a Fan" Achievement hasn't unlocked. Hopefully, Playground Games will fix any lingering issues here soon.

An Item of Extreme Value

  • Description and reward: Discover and photograph the Golden Tlaloc Totem — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The "An Item of Extreme Value" Achievement is earned during a specific Expedition, which also helps you unlock the "Far From the Mudding Crowd" Achievement. The Tulum Expedition has you travel to the ancient ruins of Tulum during a tropical storm. Once you reach Tulum, there are several optional objectives scattered around before you continue the Expedition. To earn this Achievement, you'll need to discover the Golden Tlaloc Totem in the upper left-hand corner of the mission area, near where you exit to continue the Expedition.

Once you've found the statue, enter Photo Mode and snap a picture of it. You should immediately get a voice quip from Rami, notice the optional objective appear as complete, and earn the Achievement. Keep in mind there are two statues in the area, both of which have their own optional objective during the Expedition. You'll need to find the Golden Tlaloc Statue specifically to earn this Achievement. If you've already completed the Tulum Expedition, you can always replay it at a later date.

No Stone Unturned

  • Description and reward: Complete your first Expedition — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

When progressing through the Horizon Adventure, you'll be able to choose what to unlock when you want. To open new Horizon Festival Sites across the map, you'll first need to unlock different Expeditions and complete them. Earning the "No Stone Unturned" Achievement is as simple as unlocking and completing any Expedition through Horizon Adventure, which in turn will open a new Horizon Festival Site. For many players, this will likely be the Tulum Expedition, which unlocks the Horizon Apex Outpost.

Through the Tulum Expedition, you can actually earn five Achievements at the same time. The "No Stone Unturned," "Far From the Mudding Crowd," "New Tune," "Stunning Photography," and "An Item of Extreme Value" Achievements are all obtainable by playing the Tulum Expedition, which is conveniently the first Expedition offered to be unlocked through the Horizon Adventure.

Chicken Dinner

  • Description and reward: Win your first game of The Eliminator — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

There's no guaranteed way to earn the "Chicken Dinner" Achievement, because there's no guaranteed way to win a round of The Eliminator in Forza Horizon 5. This is FH5's Battle Royale game mode, and pits dozens of players against each other across the entirety of Forza Horizon 5's map. Players can find upgraded cars scattered around the map, and challenge other players to head-to-head races that result in one player being eliminated and the other being able to upgrade their car or steal their opponent's.

To earn this Achievement, you have to be the last surviving player in a round of the Eliminator, meaning you need to survive a shrinking playable area, the threat of other players eliminating you in head-to-head races, and the Final Elimination race featuring the final batch of players.

There are several strategies players can employ in order to improve their chances of winning a round of The Eliminator. Keep an eye out for purple clouds nearby, which indicate Car Drops that are potentially better than what you're driving now. Be mindful of other players, and try to engage in head-to-head races only when you feel your car is comparable to that of your opponent's (or you're confident in your driving prowess). Remember that coming to a complete stop for more than a few seconds renders you invisible on the mini-map, while cars that are driving around make noise and are visible to other players.

When challenging another player to a head-to-head race, gain an advantage with the knowledge that head-to-head races always head toward the center of the playable area, giving you a few seconds before the destination appears on your and your opponent's screen. Also bear in mind that, while higher-level cars are typically better, there are trade-offs for off-road versus on-road cars.

Employing all of this plus experience through simply playing The Eliminator means you should eventually walk away with a victory. It may take a while to earn the "Chicken Dinner" Achievement, but it'll be worth the feeling of elation when you do secure that win.

Jackpot

  • Description and reward: Fully complete a run of Super7 — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The Super7 comes over from Forza Horizon 4, but has been expanded and evolved under the new "EventLab" umbrella of tools for players and creators. In Forza Horizon 5, players can use Super7 to create Challenge Cards, which are short-form challenges and obstacle courses in which players can drive unique creator cars and do practically anything. There are a constantly growing number of Challenge Cards as part of Super7, which are occasionally surfaced through the map for players to experience. However, to earn the "Jackpot" Achievement, players need to complete a full run of Super7 officially.

To do this, head to the "Creative Hub" tab in the Forza Horizon 5 menu and select "Super7" from the options. Once here, you'll look for "The Horizon Super7" option, which lists seven specific Challenge Cards to complete. These Challenge Cards change every week, and are being highlighted by Playground Games. To earn the "Jackpot" Achievement, you need to complete all seven of these Super7 Challenge Cards. Most Super7 Challenge Cards tend to be relatively easy and are usually a lot of fun, so it, hopefully, shouldn't take too long to complete this Achievement.

Seasoned Veteran

  • Description and reward: Complete a Festival Playlist activity in every season — 50 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist changes every week with a new season and all-new activities to complete. In order to earn the "Seasoned Veteran" Achievement, all you need to do is complete any Festival Playlist activity for each of the four seasons. This means that, at minimum, this Achievement will take four weeks to complete. Still, it's a pretty straightforward Achievement to earn, and only requires that you log on at least once a week to check the Festival Playlist and complete any activity.

The Festival Playlist can earn you exclusive cars, cosmetic items, and other rewards, so it's usually worth it to go through and keep up to date with its challenges and rewards. The "Seasoned Veteran" Achievement is also distantly related to the "Min, Meet Max" Achievement, which sees players complete every activity in the Festival Playlist for an entire Series (which consists of four weeks and four seasons).

Racing and Pacing and Plotting the Course

  • Description and reward: Win 80 different Race Events in Mexico — 50 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

On the surface, it may appear that the "Racing and Pacing and Plotting the Course" Achievement is earned by completing every separate Race Event in Forza Horizon 5, but this isn't necessary. To earn this Achievement, you simply need to complete 80 different Race Events of any kind, which include Festival Playlist challenges and championships, EventLab creations, custom routes and events, and more.

Of course, you can also simply play every Race Event until you earn this Achievement. There are currently 84 different Race Events in Forza Horizon 5, so you'll still have a few left over to complete when you earn the "Racing and Pacing and Plotting the Course" Achievement.

Unbeatable Triumph

  • Description and reward: Win six different Race Events against Unbeatable Drivatars — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

"Unbeatable Triumph" is certainly a difficult Achievement, tasking players with taking on the most difficult AI and coming out on top in six different Race Events. This Achievement is nearly impossible for all but the most skilled of players in normal Race Events (or possibly players taking advantage of situations where FH5's AI struggle to keep up). However, there is one solid way to earn this Achievement and potentially gain some awesome rewards at the same time.

Every week in the Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist, there is The Trial. This weekly challenge pits a team of Hall of Fame players against an opposing team of Unbeatable Drivatars in a three-race Championship, in which the team that first wins two races takes home the trophy. You'll still have to be confident in your driving skills, and it's necessary that you've also reached the Hall of Fame (also earning you the "Hall of Famer" Achievement). To increase your chances, also check what the car restrictions and race type for this week's The Trial are, and tune a car specifically for the event.

Once you're prepared, begin entering The Trials. These events are difficult even for experienced racers, but every individual Race Event you win tracks towards the "Unbeatable Triumph" Achievement, making it a bit easier to earn this Achievement. On top of that, successfully winning The Trial can gain you a lot of progress in the Festival Playlist and earn you some valuable rewards.

Living Legend

  • Description and reward: Earn 294 Stars from PR Stunts in Mexico — 50 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Forza Horizon 5 features hundreds of PR Stunts across its map, including Speed Traps, Speed Zones, Drift Zones, Trailblazers, and Danger Signs. To earn the "Living Legend" Achievement, you'll need to earn 294 unique Stars from PR Stunts in FH5. Each PR Stunt can grant up to three Stars, depending on how well you perform. You won't have to completely master every single PR Stunt in Forza Horizon 5 to earn this Achievement, but you will have to earn three Stars in a lot of them.

Mastering PR Stunts in Forza Horizon 5 means pairing an appropriate car to the challenge ahead, often with a custom tune, and mastering the unique challenges raised at every PR Stunt until you're able to earn three Stars. Overall, Speed Traps tend to be the easiest PR Stunts to 100%, with Danger Signs close behind. Speed Zones and Trailblazers may require more practice and skill to earn three Stars at. Finally, Drift Zones can be quite difficult if you're not familiar with drifting in Forza Horizon 5. To earn three Stars at these PR Stunts, make sure to practice your drifting a lot and play with various drift car tunes that more experienced players have created.

I Have the High Ground

  • Description and reward: Win 3 Rivals Events in 3 different PI Classes while driving the same car — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Rivals Events in Forza Horizon 5 pit you against one other player's ghost (an ephemeral representation of their attempt) on any of the game's various tracks, and your goal is to best your opponent's time with a clean lap (no collisions or rewinds). To earn the "I Have the High Ground" Achievement, you need to beat three opponent's times in the same car across three different PI Classes. This sounds more difficult than it actually is, and just takes some time.

First, you need to choose the car you wish you use. Choose a car that's a lower PI Class (this is the number that summarizes the proficiency of your car, including D, C, B, A, S1, S2, and X Classes) and can be easily upgraded into at least two higher PI Classes. Many classic muscle cars are solid choices, but it's entirely up to you and your preferences. Once you've selected a car, you can either prepare your own tunes to bring the car to the top of three different PI Classes, or you can rely on community-created tunes to get the job done.

Next, you need to choose the Rivals Events you want to complete in. You can choose any Events you want, but at the moment only Road Races appear to work, so keep this in mind. Then, all you have to do is beat your opponent's time with a clean lap on three different Rivals Events, each time changing your car to a new PI Class.

Some players have reported issues earning this Achievement. If you're having trouble earning it even after fulfilling all the requirements, many players have reported that clocking a "dirty lap" (getting a collision or using rewind) and then immediately getting a clean lap that beats your opponent's time increased their chances of getting this Achievement. Switching to different tracks also reportedly helps.

Unlimited Prowess!

  • Description and reward: Complete Round Three in all 5 Themes of Horizon Arcade — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Horizon Arcade is an aspect of Forza Horizon 5's online, and takes place in Horizon Life (the online-connected open world of FH5). Periodically, players will be able to participate in group events ranging through five different categories: Air, Speed, Drift, Chaos, and Wreckage Themes. Each of these Themes features a variety of mini-games, and each game of Horizon Arcade features three rounds of mini-games for players and teams to complete. For each round you complete, you earn Forzathon Points to spend at the FH5 Festival Playlist.

To earn the "Unlimited Prowess!" Achievement, you need to fully complete all three rounds of Horizon Arcade in each of the five Themes. To do this, keep an eye on the Forza Horizon 5 map. Horizon Arcade Events appear as large pink circles on the map, and are labelled with their theme. You can hover over the circles to see when the Horizon Arcade Event begins. New Horizon Arcade Events start every 10 to 15 minutes, so you never have to wait long to find one. Simply keep in mind which Themes you've yet to play, and wait for missing Horizon Arcade Themes to appear on the map.

While Horizon Arcade events are built to be played as a team, ongoing online matchmaking issues mean you're often not guaranteed to play with other players. Fortunately, it's now possible to complete Horizon Arcade Events completely by yourself. To ensure you're able to easily complete all three rounds of any Horizon Arcade Theme, make sure to switch to cars more appropriate for each Theme. For example, Speed Events are best tackled with a quick sports car, while Wreckage Events may prefer a durable off-roading vehicle.

Once you've completed Round Three in all five Horizon Arcade Themes, you'll earn this Achievement. To help you keep track, you can also pin the "Unlimited Prowess!" Accolade to your screen from the Accolades menu.

Ride and Seek

  • Description and reward: Discover and drive every road in Mexico — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The Forza Horizon 5 map features hundreds of roads to discover and explore, and is the largest map in any Forza Horizon game so far. Of course FH5 is going to reward you for successfully driving down every road in the game, which is exactly how you earn the "Ride and Seek" Achievement. This Achievement is undeniably time-consuming, but isn't exactly difficult to obtain.

Anytime you drive down a road for the first time in Forza Horizon 5, whether it's during a Race Event, Expedition, Showcase, Horizon Story, or simply while exploring, it's marked as discovered and is filled in on your map. Once you've discovered every area and have explored a lot of FH5, you can use the map to track down any roads you missed. Opening the map, you can filter everything off the map by untoggling "All," which reveals all the roads (discovered and not) in Forza Horizon 5.

Zoom into the map and slowly pan, bit by bit, to spy any roads you've missed. Keep in mind you have to drive down the majority of a road for it to count as discovered, meaning roads may appear to be explored but still have greyed out sections somewhere along their lengths. There are also plenty of smaller roads scattered across the map that count as separate roads to be discovered and driven down.

This Achievement is made a lot easier if you own the Buenas Vistas Player House, which allows you to instantly Fast Travel to any road on the map. Finally, it's worth noting that, for many players, this Achievement popped before they actually drove down every road in Forza Horizon 5. For me, this Achievement was earned a full five roads lower than the actual number of driveable roads in FH5. To earn the in-game Accolade of the same name, you will have to drive down every road.

Min, Meet Max

  • Description and reward: Complete all Events in a Festival Playlist Series — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist is regularly updated with new challenges, activities, and rewards for players to peruse and explore. It's a great way to decide what to play next, and adds a lot to Forza Horizon 5 over time. For completionists, it's another thing to attempt to 100%, which is exactly how to earn the "Min, Meet Max" Achievement. To earn this Achievement, you need to 100% complete an entire Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist Series, which spans four Seasons over four weeks.

In theory, this Achievement is earned simply by ensuring you log on regularly and complete every Daily Challenge, Weekly Challenge, activity, challenge, and more in the Festival Playlist every week, earning every Playlist Point and filling up each week's progress bar. However, players have had difficulties completing this Achievement due to issues with various activities and challenges not being completable or bugging out.

This includes Daily Challenges not completing when finished, Treasure Chests not appearing, Events not marking as completed, and more. Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do to get around these problems, unless there are specific workarounds or you get lucky. Playground Games is constantly working to resolve these issues, but it may be a while before the majority of players are able to earn this Achievement.

Better Than New

  • Description and reward: Restore 14 Barn Finds in Mexico — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Barn Finds have returned Forza Horizon 5, and there are 15 in total. The "Better Than New" Achievement is earned by finding and restoring 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds, which can take a considerable amount of time. The only Barn Find that doesn't count towards this Achievement is the Vocho, which is earned through completing the Vocho Horizon Story. You can refer to the aforementioned Barn Finds guide for a breakdown of every Barn Find that we discover, how to unlock them, and what car you'll earn for finding them.

Complete Collection

  • Description and reward: Find and smash all 250 Bonus Boards in Mexico — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Forza Horizon 5 features 250 different Bonus Boards scattered all across its map, each of which needs to be discovered and smashed to earn the "Complete Collection" Achievement. Barn Finds can be found practically everywhere, oftentimes in hard-to-reach places that require creative jumps and leaps to reach. It takes quite some time to find all 250, but doing so will net you plenty of XP towards levels and Wheelspins, as well as discounts towards Fast Travels (eventually making Fast Travelling completely free).

Bonus Boards will automatically appear on your map when you get close to them while exploring, meaning you'll find the vast majority of them just by driving around the map. For any you've missed and can't find, you can rely on the Forza Horizon 5 Treasure Map, which reveals the locations of all Bonus Boards, or the help of other Forza Horizon 5 players.

You also have to smash every Bonus Board, though, which comes with its own unique challenges. Some Bonus Boards are on roofs, or perched under highway bridges, or even suspended on a power pylon. Each of this precariously placed Bonus Boards require skillful jumps to reach, often taking time and effort to accomplish. If you struggle to nail one of these tricky Bonus Boards, there are plenty of videos online showing how other players have accomplished it (for many of these Bonus Boards, there is more than one right way).

Ford of the Wings

  • Description and reward: Earn 3 Stars at the Eagle's Perch Danger Sign in a Ford Supervan 3 — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Players will have to acquire the ludicrously fast 1994 Ford Supervan 3 to earn the "Ford of the Wings" Achievement, which tasks you with earning three Stars at the Eagle's Perch Danger Sign PR Stunt. After you've opened the Horizon Rush Festival Site and revealed all PR Stunts on the map, you can find the Eagle's Perch Danger Sign in the bottom right-hand corner of the map, in the Gran Pantano region.

The 1994 Ford Supervan 3 can be purchased from the Autoshow for a hefty 500,000 Credits, earned from Wheelspins, or nabbed from the Auction House if another player puts it up for sale. However you obtain your vehicle, you'll need to tune it up. You can either tune it yourself or use another player's pre-existing tune, but be prepared to sink another 100,000 Credits in the Supervan to get it up to speed.

To earn this Achievement, you'll need to hit the Danger Sign traveling at least 190Mph in order to earn 3Stars, which isn't terribly difficult to accomplish with the right tune. The biggest obstacle to this Achievement is simply acquiring the mildly expensive 1994 Ford Supervan 3.

Mogul

  • Description and reward: Purchase all 7 Player Houses — 30 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

There are seven Player Houses in Forza Horizon 5, which can all be earned in different ways. Refer to the aforementioned player houses guide for a breakdown of every player house in Forza Horizon 5, including its location and how you can acquire it. The first player house, Casa Bella, is given to players for free near the beginning of the game. However, other houses will require you to splash some cash, or feature some other method for unlocking.

Long Gone

  • Description and reward: Win the Goliath Race Event — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The Goliath is a legendary Race Event that has featured in several Forza Horizon titles, and spans the entirety of the map. In Forza Horizon 5, the Goliath is bigger than ever to reflect the size of FH5's map. Winning the aforementioned Event is the key to earning the "Long Gone" Achievement. To unlock the Goliath in the first place, you'll need to progress through the Horizon Adventure and unlock it under the Horizon Mexico Festival Site.

Once you've unlocked the Goliath, be prepared for 15 to 20 minutes of solid racing. Choose a car you're comfortable with (and is well-suited to road racing), and be aware you can use the rewind function liberally should you make any major mistakes during the race. You can be on any difficulty and any PI Class, can restart or rewind as many times as you want, and can drive any car you desire. All that's important is that, at the end of the race, you're the one in first place.

The moment you win the Goliath Race Event, you'll get a congratulatory voice quip and earn the "Long Gone" Achievement.

Gotta Smash 'Em All

  • Description and reward: Complete 5 Seasonal Smashable Challenges — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Another Achievement related to the Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist, "Gotta Smash 'Em All" tasks players with completing five Smashable Challenges as part of the aforementioned Festival Playlist. This Achievement isn't difficult to earn in terms of gameplay, but it may take a long time to actually obtain. Smashable Challenges aren't guaranteed to appear in every Season of every Festival Playlist, and are actually quite uncommon.

Smashable Challenges require that you drive over and destroy a precise number of a certain object, often in a specific car or car type. This may range from destroying 50 cacti in any Ford to demolishing 25 seasonal objects celebrating a holiday, and anything in between. Some of these challenges can take a little bit of time, as you have to track down the objects in question to smash them.

Every time a new Season starts in the Festival Playlist, scroll to the end to the "Challenges" section and check if any Smashable Challenges are listed. Any you complete here will count towards this Achievement. There's only ever one Smashable Challenge per Season, and (so far), we've only seen a handful of Smashable Challenges throughout all the Festival Playlist Series. Remaining diligent and keeping an eye on the Festival Playlist as new Series updates roll out will ensure you earn this Achievement in time.

Cactus Makes Perfect

  • Description and reward: Smash 500 cacti during Mexico's Wet Season — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

"Cactus Makes Perfect" asks players to smash an astounding 500 cacti during a specific Season in Forza Horizon 5. There's nothing fancy or special you have to do to complete this Achievement. Just wait until Summer, or the Wet Season (you can check the current Season through the Festival Playlist), and drive into the desert (the area surrounding the Horizon Mexico Festival Site is a great location) to smash cacti to your heart's content. It'll take a while to smash all 500, but persistence will get you there.

If you're eager to earn this Achievement and aren't willing to wait until Summer rolls around, you can create a custom EventLab Blueprint for a Cross-Country Race during the Wet Season with no AI Drivatar opponents.

A Royal Affair

  • Description and reward: At sunrise, take a photo of your car with some monarch butterflies at Hotel Mirador Balderrama — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

The "A Royal Affair" Achievement is a tricky one, since it requires that you take a picture of one of Forza Horizon 5's more beautiful easter eggs. Every sunrise during the Hot Season, Spring (yes, it only happens during this one Season), monarch butterflies appear around Hotel Mirador Balderrama near the top of the map on the right side, by the Las Ranas Cross-Country Race Event. To earn this Achievement, you need to use the Photo Mode in FH5 to snap a pic of your car with the monarch butterflies.

While you can certainly wait until the correct Season rolls around and then sit patiently until dawn rolls around in the exact location the butterflies appear, it's a lot easier to either create a custom EventLab Blueprint at the aforementioned Las Ranas Cross-Country Race Event with the correct Season and time of day, or take advantage of a community created solution (which can be found by searching "A Royal Affair" in EventLab). Either way, open Photo Mode immediately as the race starts and look behind you to find the butterflies you're looking for. Once you take a photo, you'll earn this Achievement.

It's not important what car you use in the photo.

Dust in the Lens

  • Description and reward: Take a photo featuring the Gran Telescopio and a dust storm — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

While not as specific as the "A Royal Affair" Achievement, "Dust in the Lens" still requires that you take a rather precise picture during a set time of the year in Forza Horizon 5. During Winter, or the Dry Season, dust storms have a chance to form in the desert. This Achievement is earned when you take a picture with the Gran Telescopio, a giant telescope built on top of Gran Caldera (the giant volcano) and a dust storm.

You're welcome to create your own EventLab Blueprint to build these conditions if you're not willing to wait for the semi-random dust storms to appear while you sit near the Gran Telescopio. There are also a variety of community-created Blueprints already present in the game if you search "Dust in the Lens" in EventLab.

It's not important what car you use in the photo, but players have reported better luck earning this Achievement when there is a car in the picture. Players also reported being near Gran Telescopio is more effective than attempting to snap a pic from a distance while a dust storm rages.

Stunning Photography

  • Description and reward: Take a photo during a tropical storm — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Another photo challenge, the "Stunning Photography" Achievement requires that you take a photo in the middle of a tropical storm, which occurs in Forza Horizon 5 during Autumn, or the Storm Season. You can use previous strategies to accomplish this, like creating a custom Blueprint Event or using one from EventLab, or simply waiting for a tropical storm to happen. However, an easy way to earn this Achievement early one (and four others at the same time), is by completing the Tulum Expedition through Horizon Adventure.

The Tulum Expedition can be unlocked early in the game, grants you access to the Horizon Apex Festival Site, and has a ton of Achievements that can be unlocked simply by playing it and completing the optional objectives. Once you leave Tulum after completing the optional objectives, the tropical storm is in full swing and taking a picture at any time nets you this Achievement.

A Heart of Gold

  • Description and reward: Send another player a Gift Drop — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

One of the biggest focuses for Forza Horizon 5 was cementing the bonds community members share with each other, culminating in a brand-new feature similar to the game's Barn Finds. Gift Drops allow players to customize and tune any car in their garage and gift it to a random player anywhere in the world. On the receiving end, players can travel to Barn Find locations to discover and pick up Gift Drops given to them by other players.

To earn the "A Heart of Gold" Achievement, all you need to do is send a Gift Drop to another player in Forza Horizon 5. you can find "Gift Drop" in the "My Horizon" section of Forza Horizon 5's pause menu. From here, you can select any car from your garage and choose to send it to any FH5 player, new Forza Horizon players, returning players, players who recently reached the Hall of Fame, or community contributors and creators. You can also choose one of a few category-specific messages, as well as whether or not you want to sign the gift.

Many players use the Gift Drop feature to offload any duplicate cars in their garage. To really make your Gift Drops special, it's always nice to equip your cars with custom liveries or tunes, that way the receiving player is getting something unique. It feels great to send or receive Gift Drops, especially when you get something valuable or custom.

You can't send Gift Drops to specific players, as Playground Games wants to avoid exploits and cars being sold for real-world money. On the other hand, it doesn't matter what car you send or which group of players you send it to when earning this Achievement.

Water Performance

  • Description and reward: Earn 3 Stars at the Puerta Pétrea and La Marisma Trailblazers within three minutes and thirty seconds — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

As far as sheer difficulty is concerned, the "Water Performance" Achievement is near the top for Forza Horizon 5. Earning 3 Stars at a Trailblazer PR Stunt isn't always easy to do consistently, and this Achievement challenges players to master two Trailblazers within two uninterrupted minutes. The Puerta Pétrea and La Marisma Trailblazers, both located in the bottom right-hand corner of the map, are the PR Stunts of choice in this Achievement, and players need to start at one and finish at the other, earning 3 Stars at both, within two minutes without fast traveling.

Earning this Achievement will take time, plain and simple. First you need to choose a car you're comfortable with and is well-suited to 100% completing Trailblazers. Good choices include off-road or rally cars tuned to upper S1-Class or higher, or S2-Class sports cars and supercars that can handle going off road without losing control. The 2011 BMW X5 M Forza Edition, if you have the VIP Membership DLC, is a solid choice.

Once you've selected a car, spend ample time at each Trailblazer until you can consistently earn 3 Stars without struggling. Each Trailblazer has multiple paths and strategies you can use to accomplish this, so you can experiment and watch other players online to figure out a plan if you're struggling. Once you're confident with each Trailblazer, you can attempt to complete this Achievement.

Here are some tips and tricks: pinning the "Water Performance" Accolade from the "Trailblazers" section can help you keep track of your time; it's a little easier to start at La Marisma, as you can follow the coastline up to Puerta Pétrea with ease; the timer doesn't actually begin until you complete one of the Trailblazers, so keep this in mind; finally, you can use Rewind if you make any mistakes, but remember that Rewind does not give you back any time.

You're the Champion

  • Description and reward: Win any Event in Horizon Open — 10 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Winning an Event in Horizon Open, Forza Horizon 5's suite of online multiplayer game modes, may be a difficult challenge for those that aren't world-class racers in Forza Horizon titles, at least on the surface. Horizon Open includes Racing Events, Drifting, Playground Games, and The Eliminator, any of which can contribute to this Achievement. Winning any of these can require significant levels of skill or luck, but there is a fairly easy way to earn the "You're the Champion" Achievement.

Through the Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist, every week features the Seasonal Playground Games, which are team-based Playground Games that are technically a part of Horizon Open. Two teams of up to six players take part in five rounds, in which the first team to win three rounds wins the entire game. You have a decent chance of winning Seasonal Playground Games, as long as you participate and get a good team. Going this route, you shouldn't have to play more than a few times to earn this Achievement.

Treasure Hunter

  • Description and reward: Find all Treasure Chests in a Festival Playlist Series — 20 Gamerscore

Source: Xbox Game Studios (Image credit: Source: Xbox Game Studios)

Another kind of challenge found in the Forza Horizon 5 Festival Playlist are Treasure Hunts, which include smashable Treasure Chests at the end. In order to earn the "Treasure Hunter" Achievement, you need to find every Treasure Chest in an entire Festival Playlist Series, or four complete Seasons. Normally, this Achievement wouldn't be too difficult, especially since there's no guarantee a Treasure Chest will appear every Season (it seems to average around two a Series), but so far several Treasure Hunts have been bugged.

This Achievement may require some patience, same as the "Min, Meet Max" Achievement, as Playground Games improves these issues. Keep an eye on the Festival Playlist as new Seasons release, and attempt the Treasure Hunts as they come. Each Treasure Hunt comes with a riddle clue, which tells you what to do to reveal the area the Treasure Chest is located. If you're struggling to decipher what the clue means, take a look online for other players that have figured it out, since it can sometimes not be terribly obvious.

Front Runner

  • Description and reward: Finish 5 Horizon Tour Race Events ahead of all Drivatars — 20 Gamerscore

Horizon Tour is an accessible online multiplayer game mode in Forza Horizon 5 in which a team of you and five other players takes on a team of six low-skilled AI Drivatars across three Racing Events, with lovely team cruises between each race location. Horizon Tour is a great way to ease into online racing in FH5, and it can be a lot of fun in general if you're not looking for a lot of difficulty. The "Front Runner" Achievement is earned by completing five Horizon Tour Race Events (individual races, not full Horizon Tours) in front of every opponent Drivatar.

This may seem difficult at first, but it's usually not too hard to accomplish. Make sure your car is tuned for the category and race types of the Horizon Tour championship you're entering, and enjoy the race! You'll need to have racing experience in Forza Horizon 5 to finish ahead of every Drivatar, but the AI difficulty is turned down a good way to make the experience more accessible to players. This is not The Trial. If you play well and your team contributes, you should be able to earn this Achievement in two or three Horizon Tours.

The final Forza Horizon 5 Achievement is yet another Achievement earned by completing the Tulum Expedition through the Horizon Adventure. When you reach Tulum and are confronted with the optional objectives, one mission is to find a place to install the Horizon Pulse Radio Beacon. You can find the platform for doing so in the bottom left-hand corner of the mission area. The moment you place the Horizon Pulse Radio Beacon, you'll earn the "New Tune" Achievement. Completing the Tulum Expedition also builds the Horizon Apex Festival Site.
