Revamped Armed Forces II Xbox controller goes all in on camouflage

Microsoft today announced the new Armed Forces II Special Edition Xbox controller, a revamped version of the original with some slight design tweaks.

All told, the look of the controller is nearly identical to its predecessor. You'll get the same green camouflage pattern, but it now extends up through the top of the middle portion above the menu buttons, as is common on Microsoft's modern controller designs. Also different is that this is built around Microsoft's latest design, featuring Bluetooth connectivity and a textured grip.

Lastly, the Bind button is now orange, making it pop out from the top of the controller.

This is the second new controller design Microsoft has introduced in the past week, following up on the minty fresh Sport White Special Edition.

The Armed Forces II Special Edition will be available starting August 14 and is available to preorder for $69.99 now.
