If you have a Radeon graphics card in your PC, AMD is looking to amp up your experience with the latest update to its Radeon software suite. Dubbed "Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition," the update brings a suite of new tools and features for monitoring GPU performance and more.
The biggest addition in the Adrenalin Edition update is the Radeon overlay, which gives you a way to monitor performance during gameplay. The overlay also gives you quick access to tools while gaming, like Radeon ReLive, AMD's tool for capturing and streaming gameplay. Speaking of ReLive, AMD has added chat integration, allowing you to interact with viewers while streaming on Facebook, Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and more.
AMD is also tweaking some of its power-saving features with this update. For example, Radeon Chill, which is AMD's tool for regulating framerates to save power, now works with games based on the Vulkan API, as well as games based on DirectX 9, 10, 11, and 12. Radeon WattMan will also now let users save and access their custom GPU profiles on the fly.
Lastly, AMD has launched the AMD Link mobile app. Available on Android and iOS, the app acts as a sort of second-screen experience to complement the Radeon desktop software. From AMD:
