Metro Exodus 'Uncovered' trailer welcomes newcomers into the world

Metro Exodus is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter which has garnered a lot of interest in recent months. The game is a sequel to Metro: Last Light which was ported to Xbox One a few years ago. Years after nuclear war devastated Earth, a few survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow. They have struggled against the lethal elements and fought mutated beasts. Now, in Metro Exodus, they must flee the underground tunnels in search of a new life in the East.

Today, publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games released a new video called "Metro Exodus Uncovered." It features new gameplay footage and welcomes newcomers into the world. According to the companies, "Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light have earned a reputation as cult classics." Five years in the making, Metro Exodus builds on the series' strengths while offering players a new sensation of freedom and exploration in the wastelands of post-apocalyptic Russia. Metro Exodus Uncovered is a great way to get up to speed with the unique world featured in Metro Exodus.

Metro Exodus will release on February 15, 2019 on Xbox One and other platform. That's the same day Crackdown 3 and Far Cry: New Dawn launch. There may be more games coming out that day, we're just aware of these three.

If you love post-apocalyptic experiences like Rage 2, then be sure to give this game a go in February. The title features Xbox One X enhancements and runs at native 4K resolution on Microsoft's new console. From what we've seen at events like E3 2018, the title looks stunning on the system.
