Battlefield V gets numerous bug fixes on Xbox One tomorrow (update)

Updated November 13, 2018: EA provided incorrect file sizes and the update hitting Xbox One tomorrow is just 530 MB.

Battlefield V is an upcoming first-person shooter set in World War II. The game features single-player campaign scenarios similar to Battlefield 1, alongside an expansive multiplayer mode.

Today, EA revealed that Battlefield V would get a patch on Xbox One and PC on November 14, 2018. It'll hit the system at roughly 4 AM ET or 5 AM ET depending on your platform. The download will be roughly 530 MB and include a number of bug fixes. Since the Deluxe Edition will launch on Friday, it seems like developer DICE wanted to make sure everything ran smoothly for the "soft launch."

Unlike Battlefield 1, it seems like the focus here is to merge all forms of gameplay — foot, vehicular, and aerial — into every map. There seems to be a lot of environmental variety too. Hopefully snipers won't run amok in this iteration of the game. There need to be better balancing this time around, especially when it comes to certain loadouts having unfair advantages.

Battlefield V was supposed to launch earlier this year, but was delayed to November 20 a few weeks ago. The beta test was quite rough around the edges, especially when it came to performance on Xbox One. Even the Xbox One X performance wasn't that great.
