Bee Simulator for Xbox One and PC is exactly what the name suggests

Have you ever dreamt about what it would be like if you were a bee? What is it like to fly around, collect pollen, and possibly sting people? Well, in Fall 2018, a game called Bee Simulator is coming to Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. The game is exactly what the name suggests.

The developer shared a rather flowery description on the title's Steam page. It reads, "When the first rays of sunlight rise above the horizon, the beehive slowly wakes up. Hierarchy and diligence are vital for the wellbeing of the whole swarm. So you check your wings, measure the antennae degree of deviation, take orders from the Queen, and bee-gin your first independent mission."

However, it's not just about casually flying around. A corporation might want to cut down your tree or other insects might decide they like the location of your hive. You have to use your stinger to save your swarm from enemies. Exploration also plays an important part as the game takes place in an environment resembling New York's Central Park. While there are story missions, you have the opportunity to freely fly around and discover your surroundings.

We'll keep you posted as soon as we receive a concrete release date. The game is expected to launch through the ID@Xbox program. Hopefully Bee Simulator will also feature Xbox One X enhancements because we all want to live the life of a bee in 4K resolution.
