The second pair of free Xbox Games with Gold for August are now available. Starting today, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can pick up both Trials Fusion and Red Faction: Armageddon for free.
Typically available for $20, Trials Fusion is described as a platforming racer. The goal is to tackle a virtually endless array of tracks filled with obstacles and ramps. From the description:
Built upon the Trials franchise's proven gameplay foundations, Trials Fusion challenges players endlessly in both classic and all-new ways. It melds the classic, proven Trials formula of simple yet addictive competition with the social and visual breakthroughs of the next generation of gaming.
On the other side of the fence is Red Faction: Armageddon, the second Xbox 360 title to go free for August. The game is a third-person shooter that puts players in the shoes of Darius Mason as he tries to save humanity from extinction at the hands of an alien race. Red Faction: Armageddon only recently hit backward compatibility, so, keeping with tradition, it is playable on Xbox One as well.
Keep in mind that another free title in August, Slime Rancher, is also still available and will continue to be through the end of the month.
