Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 gets blood and zombie-filled launch trailer

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is around the corner, and Activision keeps on giving us glimpses into all of the modes. Aside from traditional multiplayer and "Blackout" battle royale, the game doubles down on zombies. There are many modes in which you can fight the undead alongside your friends. Some take place in mythic arenas while others are housed on cursed ships.

Today, Activision released a gameplay launch trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. While we get glimpses of the standard multiplayer modes and "Specialists", the zombie modes are also showcased. Specialists are like Rainbow Six Siege's "Operators" and feature their own unique skills which players can employ in the heat of battle. They're like character classes. However, the quirky nature of the zombie modes make them stand out, especially the one which features an ancient arena.

Instead of featuring a single-player campaign, this installment in the staple franchise focuses on the multiplayer offerings. According to various reports, not many Call of Duty players play the campaign so it's understandable as to why the developer decided to remove it this year.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is expected to launch on October 12, 2018. The game targets 4K 60 FPS on Xbox One X. Are you interested in the game? Let us know.
