No Man's Sky gets motorbike and vehicle customization with latest patch

Ever since No Man's Sky launched on Xbox One, gamers have been asking for more vehicles and the ability to customize them. Beforehand, you could over drive a rover. Luckily, that's about to change with the latest patch in a big way.

Today, Hello Games announced that the team added the "Pilgrim Motorbike", vehicle customization, and online racing to the game. The Pilgrim Motorbike is a rugged, fast-moving craft that can speed up any journey across a hostile planet. We've been testing it out for the past few hours and prefer it over the rover. The patch notes also said, "The existing exocraft have... been tweaked. Multiplayer racing has been fixed, inventory sizes have been increased... all owned exocraft can be summoned with unlimited range on any planet."

Just like Rocket League, the vehicles in this game can be customized in many ways. You can choose the color of the left door, right door, bonnet, and much more. Furthermore, the decals and boost flame effects can also be altered.

It's great to see that this feature made its way into No Man's Sky because it enhances immersion. Being able to create a truly personalized vehicle adds to the feeling that you're in the game. For example, many gamers prefer if a car looks like the one they own. The expanded vehicles customization lets you do exactly that.
