Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus gets a Nazi-destorying launch trailer

The trailer gives you a tease of the campaign which focuses on those battling Nazi occupation in an alternative reality where the United States has been overthrown. The game promises to feature a lot of thrills and according to the company, contains over 3,000 Nazi deaths. That's what the Wolfenstein franchise has always been about, and it's great to see they're keeping up the tradition!

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus rockets the action and chaos to new heights. As always, you play as B.J. Blazkowicz, now with the goal of kicking Nazis out of America. Yes, it's not just about battling them in castles in Europe. The title features larger-than-life set pieces and an impressive arsenal of upgradeable weapons. We don't know how long the game is but if the first one is any indication, expect a lengthy campaign.

For those who don't know, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is the direct sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order. Wolfenstein: The New Order surprised everyone with its lengthy and bombastic story, as well as its tight shooting mechanics. At that point Wolfenstein was mostly a forgotten franchise which many fans had abandoned. Wolfenstein: The New Order changed that.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus releases on October 27, 2017 on Xbox One, Windows PC and PlayStation 4. There's a Nintendo Switch version coming next year. Be sure to check out the title at retailers if you're interested in historic shooters.
