June's free Xbox Games with Gold feature Smite and Lego Indiana Jones 2

Today, Microsoft accidentally announced June's free Games with Gold for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners. As you probably guessed, it appears that a scheduled post on the company's Xbox Wire service went live before its official reveal. Xbox Wire has leaked a number of games recently like Aragami and Divinity: Original Sin II.

Starting on June 1, 2018, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be free with the subscription. Then, on June 16, Xbox Live Gold members can download Smite Gold Bundle and Lego Indiana Jones 2: The New Adventures at no cost. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Lego Indiana Jones 2 are backward compatible so you can also play them on your Xbox One or Xbox One X with better performance.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia is the final chapter of the Assassin's Creed Chronicles trilogy. This time around, you step into the shoes of Nikolai Orelov, who continues the ongoing battle against the Templars which seems to have no end in sight. The game takes place during the Russian October Revolution where you're tasked with stealing an ancient treasure and saving a princess. The game definitely gives you Prince of Persia vibes.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed lets you join the legendary hedgehog and over twenty other characters in a Mario Kart-like experience. Players can turn their cars into boats and planes as they try to get the top position on land, sea and in the air. The game features an online mode as well as local split-screen gameplay.

Smite Gold Bundle

This is the oddest package by far. Smite is a free-to-play combat game which features over ninety gods like Loki and Thor. The Smite Gold Bundle contains over $100 worth of free content, including twenty additional gods and over fifty bonus items such as skins and caster packs.

Lego Indiana Jones 2: The New Adventures

Lego Indiana Jones 2 lets you relive famous scenes from the four Indiana Jones movies. Just like other Lego games, players must build and fight their way through the story. However, there's also the option to create your own levels and play with a friend in local split-screen co-op.

Be sure to download all four of these games next month because many of them are great experiences. Out of all of these, I would recommend playing Lego Indiana Jones 2 because it's an incredible title despite its slight camera issues.
