What you need to know

  • Pearl Abyss is launching a new massively multiplayer game soon.
  • DokeV features cute characters and gigantic bosses.
  • The soundtrack is also amazing because it's all about K-pop.
  • It's coming to PC and consoles soon from the looks of it.

Pearl Abyss is a popular Korean developer that is known for its massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG). Black Desert is quite possibly the best example because it's still quite popular on Xbox One. However, it seems like there's another game called DokeV coming to PC and consoles soon.

The title was announced at G-Star 2019, but it's unclear when the game is going to launch. Will it be available in The East first before making its way over to The West? Only time will tell. What do know is that it looks very unique. In many ways, it reminds me of Sunset Overdrive. It'll be interesting to see what the gameplay entails, but from the trailer, you can tell that there's going to be a lot of customization and gigantic boss battles.

DokeV revolves around a wide variety of unique creatures, known as Dokebi, that grow and gain power from people's dreams. It's an MMORPG for all ages and is currently aiming for a beta test in 2020.

Are you interested in this Korean MMO? What do you think of Black Desert on Xbox One? Let us know. Keep in mind that as of now, what consoles the title is coming to is unknown. Hopefully, it'll make its way to Xbox One just like Black Desert did.
