Bethesda games will come to Xbox Game Pass, may come to other consoles on a 'case by case' basis

Microsoft made waves today when it announced that it is acquiring ZeniMax, meaning that Bethesda is joining Xbox. This means that all new games from teams like Arkane Studios, Tango Gameworks and more will launch into Xbox Game Pass, which has over 15 million subscribers.

In a statement to Bloomberg, Microsoft explained that it intends to honor the current agreements surrounding some timed exclusive titles, meaning Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo will still release as timed PS5 exclusives. Microsoft also states that Bethesda games could come to other consoles on a "case by case" basis.

So if you're looking for an exact list or formula for what games will be exclusive and which ones won't — there isn't one. We'll have to wait and see just what happens over the next couple of years. The new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are set to release on November 10, with preorders opening on September 22.
