ASUS' Zen AiO 27 packs a wireless charger in its base, 4K display, and beefy hardware

ASUS today took the wraps off of the Zen AiO 27, a beefy all-in-one PC aimed at content creators and professionals. Packing some beefy specs, the Zen AiO 27 appears to hit the mark, but it also stands out from the pack with a wireless charger built into its base and plenty of ports.

In terms of specs, you'll find Intel's 8th Gen Core i7-8700T processor, 16GB of RAM, and a combination of a 2TB HDD and 512GB SSD for storage. Backing that up is an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics chip, which will help power graphically intense applications on the 27-inch 4K touch display.

ASUS went all-in on additional niceties here as well, including an IR camera for logging in quickly with Windows Hello. Alexa is also on board here so you can query Amazon's digital assistant and control your smart home devices just by speaking to your computer. That's in addition to the integrated 7.5W Qi wireless charger, letting you plop your phone down on the base to get eliminate some wires from your desk.

Lastly, there are plenty of port options available here as well. Those include a single USB 3.1 Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support, three USB 3.1 Type-A ports, and a single USB 2.0 port. Further, you'll find HDMI in and out ports, an ethernet jack, one audio jack, and a 2-in-1 SD card reader.

The ASUS Zen AiO 27 is set to go on sale starting today for a hefty $2,000.
