The Arctis 3 is already a great headset, but now a Bluetooth variant (costing $129.99) is coming out that helps ditch all the cables. Other than that, this version of the Arctis 3 is almost identical in every other way to the already available pair of cups and that's not a bad thing.
There are a few other handy features though, including the ability to have chat or music connections pass through Bluetooth while using wires for audio output from a PC or console, allowing you to hook up more than a single device. While it's possible to rely solely on either connection, having the option to combine the two together for a fully personalized experience is a nice touch.
This also makes it handy for the Nintendo Switch, because using an app on your smartphone for voice chat while gaming is a much better experience — said no one ever. It's actually a clever way of doing things since Bluetooth still isn't perfect for audio yet, not compared to a cable anyway. There's still too much latency, which makes it ideal for music. It's also not incredibly expensive, coming in at $129.99.
