Microsoft outlines Gamescom 2018 'Inside Xbox' live show

After previously announcing its presence at Gamescom 2018, Microsoft has further detailed plans for the colossal gaming event. Its monthly live show "Inside Xbox" is set to return for another installment, where we expect its biggest unveilings since E3.

Director of programming at Xbox Live, Larry Hryb, has taken to his blog to confirm the presence of upcoming racer, Forza Horizon 4, alongside existing titles, Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2. For Sea of Thieves, we expect to see its "Forsaken Shores" DLC, bringing an expanded map and deployable rowboat. For the zombie-filled State of Decay 2, we're hoping to see the all-new mode contained within the "Daybreak Pack."

A tease of "breaking news, exclusive interviews, and never-before-seen content" also indicates Microsoft will have surprises to come. While indication of an Xbox Game Pass announcement has been made, some also hope for the Xbox Elite controller "V2."

To tune in yourself, Inside Xbox is set to broadcast on Tuesday, August 21 at 10:30 AM ET/4:30 PM CEST on Mixer and YouTube.
