Mortal Kombat 11 goes up for preorder on Xbox One

At The Game Awards 2018, Warner Bros. announced Mortal Kombat 11. The reveal featured a gory fight between Raiden and Scorpion which ended up in the latter's head being blown to bits through some charged electric attack. However, just when you think that the fight is over, a "modified" Scorpion shows up and kills Raiden in a few seconds.

Mortal Kombat 11 is expected to launch on Xbox One and other platforms on April 23, 2019, but if you preorder, you can gain access to the closed beta. The game comes in two versions, one which costs $59.99 and the other $99.99. If you own an Xbox One X, be sure to preorder it there because the game features enhancements for Microsoft's new console.

Mortal Kombat is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise. The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. Featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat's best in class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.
