Assassin's Creed Origins updated with HDR and Xbox One X enhancements

Assassin's Creed Origins has a ton of content planned for release throughout November, but it's starting out the month by adding support for the upcoming Xbox One X. Coming just a week ahead of the console's launch, the latest update for Assassin's Creed Origins, patch 1.03, is now rolling out with visual enhancements that will be ready to go right away on Xbox One X.

In addition to 4K support on Xbox One X, the update also adds HDR for all consoles, as well as Dolby Atmos support on Xbox One in general. In terms of other notable features, the update also includes new effect types in Photo Mode, including: depth of field, exposure, vignette, temperature, tint, saturation, and noise. Aside from those additions, the update includes a ton of fixes and improvements across the board.

Assassin's Creed Origins takes players to ancient Egypt, as players take the role of Bayek, the first Assassin, and explore the origins of the Assassin's Brotherhood. The game is available now for $59.99 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you're already playing along, you can download this latest update, which totals in at 1.8GB large, now.
