USB-C and the ASUS ZenBook Duo

As stated above, the USB-C slot on the ASUS ZenBook Duo is not configured for charging purposes. This means that you won't be able to use it to replenish the laptop's battery. For that, you're going to need to use the device's dedicated barrel plug charger. However, the USB-C port will be useful for transferring data to and from the device. The port doesn't support Thunderbolt 3, but even standard USB-C nevertheless offers relatively quick data transfer speeds of 10Gbps, which is double the rate of USB-A.

The ASUS ZenBook Duo is a great device that offers competent power and value for productivity. With its unique dual displays (one "regular" screen, one smaller touch-enabled one under the keyboard), you can run and view two programs and/or tabs simultaneously, giving you the freedom to essentially operate a "double monitor" setup with the device. The NVIDIA MX250 GPU, Intel 10th Gen i7-10510U processor, and 16GB of RAM that the laptop is equipped with can handle any work task you throw at it outside of intensive media editing; you can even enjoy some light gaming with these specs. It's also important to note that the Intel 10th Gen CPU gives the ASUS ZenBook Duo full compatibility with Wi-Fi 6, which is the latest standard that increases connection speed and stability.

From a physical perspective, the device is lovely as well. It weighs in at just 3.3 pounds (1.5 kg), so it's easy to carry around, and the laptop is just under an inch too so that it won't take up too much space in a bag. It's also worth highlighting that it has skinny bezels around both of the displays that make the viewing experience more enjoyable. Lastly, the dual USB-A 3.1 ports and single aforementioned USB-C 3.1 port offer a vast amount of options for connecting various peripherals.
