Following the reveal of Halo Infinite's multiplayer gameplay at the Xbox E3 2021 show, 343 Industries announced in a blog post that Halo Infinite's Big Team Battle (BTB) mode will have 24 players (12 per team) in each match, up from previous iterations that had 16. This means that Halo Infinite's BTB will be the largest one in the Halo franchise's history, and paired with all of Halo Infinite's crazy weapons and abilities, it's sure to be a sloppy and chaotic good time.

The multiplayer gameplay reveal trailer gave us a glimpse of what Big Team Battle gameplay will look like, with tons of Spartans annihilating each other with various guns, grenades, vehicles, and pickups. Check out the trailer below:

Overall, did you like what you saw of Halo Infinite's multiplayer? How do you feel about the game's overall presence at E3 2021? We think it looks like it's going to be one of the best Xbox games ever, and we can't wait to play it when it comes to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, and Windows 10 (and Windows 11) PCs later this year. You can preorder the game now for $60, but keep in mind that if you're only interested in the multiplayer, it will be completely free.
