Check out 8 minutes of 4K Xbox One X gameplay (video)

Preorders for Microsoft's upcoming Xbox One X have finally gone live, with less than two months remaining until the slated launch. Promising to deliver various visual enhancements upon existing Xbox One games, the console is being marketed as a high-end device for "premium" experiences.

With an increase in available resources, many games "Enhanced" for Xbox One X will be able to hit 4K resolution and see improved framerates. Not only will upcoming blockbusters like Forza Motorsport 7 see these benefits – existing games, such as Rise of the Tomb Raider and Quantum Break, are being updated with support too. We recently had the chance to get hands-on with the device and capture our own footage of the console in action.

This is only a small taste of what the Xbox One X will offer, with over 130 titles (and more) expected to take advantage of the console right now. As the release date nears, we can expect to hear more about all the games showcased in our video, alongside those officially announced by developers.

What do you think of the 4K footage? Let us know your opinions in the comments.
