The Outer Worlds releases this October, new trailer revealed at E3 2019

What you need to know

Obsidian Entertainment's The Outer Worlds received an extended gameplay trailer on Microsoft's stage at E3 2019. It was revealed that it will launch on October 25, 2019.

Set on the very edges of our galaxy, The Outer Worlds (not to be confused with the recently released Outer Wilds) is an RPG where players are entangled in a conspiracy that threatens to unravel the colony they are a part of. The Outer Worlds is designed to cater to a multitude of playstyles, and sometime down the road you should even be able to mod it.

Though Obsidian is now owned by Microsoft, The Outer Worlds will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Think of it as the Fallout: New Vegas sequel that you never received but set in space.
