Today, Microsoft announced a number of new improvements to Xbox Game Pass. Aside from the general availability of the Xbox Game Pass app, the company unveiled some upcoming additions to the catalog. Some blockbusters and smaller experiences are joining the service very soon.
The biggest addition has to be PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG). The game will go free on Xbox Game Pass starting November 12, 2018. PUBG is a battle royale game focused on scavenging weapons and using stealth or other tactics to be the last person alive. The title has see unprecedented popularity on Steam and other platforms like the Xbox One over the past several months.
Apart from that, Agents of Mayhem, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, MXGP3, Ori and the Blind Forest, Thief of Thieves, and more games are coming to Xbox Game Pass either today or in the coming weeks. You can read a complete list below.

A lot of these games are absolutely phenomenal experiences that many Xbox Game Pass subscribers will love. Ori and the Blind Forest alongside Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice are both meaningful projects.
There's another promotion going on as well. Starting today through January 3, you can sign up for Xbox Game Pass and receive your first full month for just $1. According to Microsoft, "With a growing catalog of over 100 great games and new titles added every month, now has never been a better time to become an Xbox Game Pass member."
Be sure to check out Xbox Game Pass if you want a Netflix-style subscription for games. Unlike competing products, the titles download to your system so there's no streaming involved. Consumers don't have to worry about image quality or lag.
