Updated March 15, 2020: While Xbox Live was down on March 15, 2020, the service now appears to be coming back online. If you're still experiencing issues, check our troubleshooting steps below.

This is probably the last thing you want to hear on a relaxing Sunday off, but Xbox Live is indeed down right now, as is Xbox's support status website.

As of writing, we are unable to log in to our Xbox consoles reliably, and we're also unable to sign in to Xbox.com on the web. Microsoft's general log in servers seem to be working, since Outlook.com and OneDrive.com still allow for sign-ins, but everything tied to Xbox Live seems to be having problems. For example, the Xbox Store page isn't loading, even after we were able to sign in.

Typically, Microsoft's Xbox support Twitter usually recognizes when problems are occurring, but they are thus far silent on the issue. Although many are reporting the problems on Twitter using the #XboxLive hashtag. It may also be a case of overloaded servers, as many work from home due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Update: Microsoft has responded to the problems on Twitter, noting that they are investigating.

Update 2: It seems Mixer is also having issues.

We'll update this post as soon as we have more information, but rest assured, if you're having issues with Xbox Live right now, you're not alone.
